Who the hell is Guillaume Latendresse? While I kid, the answer to this is very, very easily Lucic.

Lucic pwns all Habs.

As a Habs fan I would trade Lats for Lucic 8 days a week. Lucic is a beast, even though I hate the guy.

Latendresse: Better offensive potential, has some powerforward upside if he uses the body moer.
Lucic: Glorified grinder that has a somewhat limited offensive potential but is sort of blown up here by fans of his (this is from a guy that knows him as a friend no less).

I would love to have either or on the Pens, both are solid wingers and are upgrades over Fedotenko and Dupuis. With that, I would go with Latendresse.

habs fan here, I would also take Lucic in half a second, Latendresse is lazy slob who should spend the rest of his career in the press box.

I see Latendresse as the glorified grinder... Hasn't done anything this year, healthy scratch the last 3 games.

Lucic is no sniper but he's got some skills. 20 goals/40-50 points isn't unrealistic.

We WISH he was

At the start of the season we saw glimpse of a true power forward. But a few games after Lats decided it was not worth it so here he is now, in the press box. We can't really blame the guy for not being the true power forward he was supposed to be... maybe he's not that type of player...

So I take Lucic without even thinking twice. Skilled grinders are hard to find these days. I was a huge fan of his during his days in Vancouver and I will always be.

This poll was never close.

Lucic is a friggin monster in his second year in the league.

Lantendresse is picking popcorn husks out of his teeth on a regular basis.

Right now its Lucic, obviously. Gui is riding the pine while Lucic is getting top line minutes on one of the leagues best offences. Having said that, Gui has more offensive potential than Lucic, so if he gets his head out of his ass and starts playing like he can and should, then the scale might tip a little in Gui's favour. Thats a pretty big IF though, as things aren't looking so good for him at the moment.

Wow way to totally contradict yourself. You say that it's too close to call and then promptly call it...bravo

Latendresse was never supposed to be a power forward. Habs fan wanted him to be.

However, he just never played that way.
