1. Patrick Traverse (26.44%)
2. Sergei Samsonov (24.14%)
3T. Mariusz Czerkawski (15.49%)
3T. Janne Niinimaa (15.49%)
5. Sergei Berezin (21%)
6. Matt Higgins (28.38%)
7. Juha Lind (14.71%)
8T. Christian Laflamme (18.42%)
8T. Johan Witehall (18.42%)

I was going to say, if Christianne Laflamme doesn't make the list, then it loses all credibility.

Indeed, but if I recall, Racicot wasn't even that bad a goalie when called upon.

Racicot had an awful debut on Hockey Night in Canada against the Leafs. He disappeared after that and fell behind Jean-Claude Bergeron in the depth chart when Brian Hayward held out to start 1990-91. As Bergeron was not very good and Roy was injured in January 1991, in came Racicot and he was far better than Bergeron. For the start of 1991-92, he was back in the minors and Roland Melanson took his place but soon Melanson was injured and Racicot was back and he was adequate. I always blamed Racicot's troubles on his changing his number from 40 to 37 - in 1992-93 he drew the bad teams and had a winning record but they already started dubbing him "the worst backup goaltender." Things just fell apart the next year and he was exiled in favour of Les Kuntar, who in turn was replaced by Ron Tugnutt.

Apparently, former New York Americans and Pittsburgh Pirates goaltender Joe Miller was also dubbed "Red Light". He was the Americans' goalie in 1927 and was called upon by the league to play for the Rangers in the Stanley Cup Final at Madison Square Garden to replace the injured Lorne Chabot. "Red Light" Miller helped win one for the Rangers.

i would have to say Guillaume Latendresse is the worst player montreal has ever had. the only thing this kid has is a big head and we have the media to thank for that. the kid simply has no talent and does not belong in the NHL, for a player who apparently skipped bantam, his skills arent far from a bantam/midget hockey player. i couldnt be happier that he is benched, i hope he gets placed on wavers or gets sent down to hamilton where he can play with players within his capabilities

Murray Baron fails to make the list.

Rather fitting I think; he fails at everything.

OK, what did this guy do in his THREE FREAKING GAMES that offended so many people? Every round there were three posts for him, but he never entered the contest because he played, let me repeat, THREE FREAKING GAMES.

I'm guessing - because you had to ask - that you didn't actually see those three games.

Robert Dirk was truly awful and was without a doubt an embarrassment to the sweater he wore.
