Who is more valuable to the Kings?/Who would be more valuable to your favorite team?
It seems that a lot of the proposals here with the Kings getting a superstar player has either Frolov or O'Sullivan going the other way. It seems that they are the two players that have good value but are not considered to be a major part of the core like Kopitar, Brown... They are also the players that tend to get put in the doghouse by Terry Murray. A tad off topic but I am somewhat frustrated with the difference in treatment. In my opinion, Kopitar and Brown have been more detrimental in some of the games than Frolov or O'Sullivan yet they receive no punishment at all. Terry Murray's explanation for benching Frolov was because he is a veteran that the younger players look up to...well Brown and Kopitar are the C and A with Brown having just 1 less year of experience than Frolov...those are guys that young players look up to, aren't they? I'm not saying Frolov's error should be dismissed completely because it should be addressed, but why aren't Brown and Kopitar getting the same medicine? Enough with my rant...I have been blindly faithful to the Kings for a long time. Just my personal opinion but I want Frolov to be a King forever and if I had to choose one to trade, I would probably choose O'Sullivan, whom I also really like. I feel that a player like Frolov is a lot harder to find as well. What are the feelings with other members here both Kings fans and fans of other teams?
Frolov is still the best player on the Kings and has been for a few years now. I thought Kopitar may take a run at the title this year but for now Frolov is still the best player and on a great contract while still young. Something to factor in, Frolov is now playing with Stoll and some better people here and there but almost his whole career had nothing for line-mates (Armstrong was his center).
