Well we play them on Saturday, so guaranteed that game gets brought up, and I'm sure everytime they mention it, it'll be the same ol' "Sidney Crosby and his penguins visit the Wachovia Center this Saturday......." They always say it like that, and it makes me want to smash things.

I don't understand why nobody has it. I'm getting it and I didn't have to order it and I don't have any special packages except HD and Centre Ice.

I know for us, Rogers is pitching a tantrum about TSN2 and won't offer it to their subscribers. May he rot in peace.

Guys, I just caught the tail end of them talking about the Flyers and they mentioned something about Gagne and worrying whether his concussion symptoms were back or not but he played against Carolina anyway. Did anyone else see this or hear anything??

Do you have Shaw?

I'm on the Shaw package with HD and I have TSN2. I appreciate that their programming is basically just delayed from TSN..... so I get to see OTR and PTI when I get home since those shows are live in the afternoon here.

More changes for the Islanders, including Fritz:
Quote:

http://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/ho...slanders/blog/

Defenseman Andy Sutton and forward Nate Thompson will not play tonight in Philadelphia after coming down with a case of the flu. Thompson actually only made it through the first period in the Islanders' 4-2 loss Monday night in Toronto because of the illness. Sutton completed the game but is too sick to handle the back-to-back

The Isles have called up defenseman Joe Callahan on an emergency basis from Bridgeport to take Sutton's place. Enforcer Mitch Fritz once again is on the shuttle from Bridgeport as a regular callup to take Thompson's place in the lineup against the rugged Flyers. This will be the second time Fritz has been in the lineup in three meetings with the Flyers this season.

Great Thread

btw, versus is the worst network of all time. I can't get it out here and tonight I'll be relegated to watching some poor quality internet streaming vid. better than nothing I guess.

If nothing else, the line has a local flavor in name:

Joffrey Lupul was smiling at the Wachovia Center during the Flyers’ morning skate on Tuesday.

Tuesday against the Islanders (7 p.m./Versus), Lupul should see more playing time – as much as three minutes – because of a line change that the 25-year-old right wing has been pining for.

He’ll be on the ice with Jeff Carter and Scott Hartnell. It’s the Center City Line.

“We all live about four blocks from each other, so we go from the skate to lunch to discuss tonight’s game,” Lupul said.

I'm with Cogeco (the only cable provider in my area). I used to think Rogers was better when I lived somewhere else, but seeing as how I get TSN2 and the Rogers people don't, my opinion is changing.

Yeah they do. They talked about it in that promo where Hartnell showed his cooking prowess.
