Looks like TB is in firesale mode

Do they have anybody the Flyers can use? I could easily see it going back to the days when TB was basically the Flyers' best farm team.

I like Jokinen and Recchi. They also have Ramo and Helenius as far as goalie prospects go. Artyukhin isn't bad 4th/3rd line fodder either.

Oh, and everybody laughed at the ridiculous waiver claim threads, but Gratton for 600k prorated on a re-entry claim is fine with me. I doubt he'd get to the Flyers though, if he even makes it through waivers tomorow.

No Chris Gratton. Ever. I've said his name more in the last 3 days involving the Flyers than I have in the first 6 1/2 years I've been on the board.

Jokinen would be an interesting pickup.

Not really interested in Gratton myself though.

If we wanted to try Briere at win again I wouldnt mind Jokinen as third line C.

Gagne-Richards-Knuble
Upshall-Carter-Briere
Hartnell-Jokinen-Lupul

Lets Nodl go back down, and like someone said would help in the shootout. (I know he is listed as a wing but he has taken the 2nd most faceoffs on the team)

first of all, Gratton would have to clear waivers, then be sent down, then be reclaimed fomr the minors, and every other team below us in the standings would have to paas on Gratton BEFORE we could claim him at 600k prorated.

Artyukhin!!! Would love to see him on Flyers RW.

Comsidering our cap space.

Asham & Jones for Mihalik and Artyukhin. Flyers get Artyukhins size and speed, he also can fight and project d-men Mihalik.

Firesale implies they are building for the future.

Think trading their old guys and big contracts.

Basically everyone who is over $1 million and not Vinny LeCav or Martin St Louis can be had.

I doubt they trade prospects or Stamkos.

I would like Jokinen as well, what is his cap hit??? I think he might be a good winger for Briere when he comes back and like others have said he would help greatly on the shootout. Other than him, how about Gary Roberts for a cup run??

He plays centre aswell in case Briere goes back to wing.

Id toss Jones for him. add a pick because of Jones' injury?

Gagne-Richards-Lupul
Upshall-Carter-Knuble
Jokinen-Briere-Hartnell

everybody naming garbage one dimensional players we'd have no room for on the flyers ...

the only player other than lecavalier (who is out of the question) that i'd be interested in from tampa would be mike smith

Jussi Jokinen isn't better than any of our forwards in the top 9

I think he's quite a bit better than Lupul, Upshall, Metro, and Nodl.

I'd love Jokinen or giving Recchi another shot. I don't think TB will/would give up Jokinen though.
