Wow just stop people. this is about D'agostini...

and no he aint no superstar, I realize that was sarcastic kinda but dang... right now he's our hottest player but it doesnt mean much besides being opportunistic (that goal on kipper was good though). Give him at least half an NHL season but so far looking GREAT.

I agree, hes having a great start, but so did Sergei to the start of the season. Not discrediting either of them for their potential, but D'Ago needs atleast 1 NHL season before I jump the gun and say hes the next Brad Boyes.

D'Agostini is in a lot of peoples good books right now...

"You either die a hero or see yourself become the villan"

Only a matter time...before people start berating him.

True, but I think it is fair to say that short of ripping off his jersey in the third period to reveal a Flames jersey and punching Koivu in the face, he might soon want to go find a place to live.

there arent many guys that find the back of the net game in and game out, he is positionally sound in the O zone and at this time you cant ask for much more, as long as he puts himself in the right position Koivu will find him its just up to him to finish it.

I am not being negative, just reminding to not get the guy overhyped like it usually happens when someone has a good streak.

But he'll play the NHL, for sure...

I always thought him very clutch around the net.

He's right in front of the net when the other players shoot and he gets chances that way.. The type of player this team needed, really.

Unlike Latendresse

I'm not going to Jinx him like this...

I just hope he keeps this up, feels great for late round choices to go pro.

You guys realize there's an element of novelty in this...

The other teams don't know him yet.

We'll see how he does when he gets coverage put on him.

Ryder scored goals off a wicked wrist shot. D'Ago crashes the net, skates hard, and can play defense, too.

He reminds me of a young Higgins the way he comes out of the corners with the puck. Higgins seems to have lost that aspect of his game, trying to do too much maybe...

No need to keep Latendresse then?

( as my first post I needed to bash Latendresse, sorry)

LOL.

I like D'Agostini : )

No need to worry. I was just making a veiled poke that sooner or later he will end up in the dog house or become the scape goat...

Look at the cases of Sergei Kostitsyn and Obyrne right now.
