If Dandy is out the rest of the game it means Brisebois gets more icetime.

What an awesome 2 periods. Fun game. Except we're falling like flies out there.

If the goalies aren't so solid, it could easily be 5-3 or something crazy like that.

Lol... I forgot about that... last year he had like 10 breakaways and shot on all of them except one at the end of the season, I was so surprised.

Early in the game they tried to say D'Agostini but just ended up giving up.

i wouldn't be against trading Plek for a bigger guy who can grind it out. I'm a big Plek fan but he IS a little girl.

Pretty good game. Had they played like this all of November we would be so much better off. Love D'agostini's play yet again.

2nd intermission thoughts:
- we're outplaying calgary with our speed and creating more scoring chances, they're responding with questionable hits ( I guess that's ''western hockey")
- dagostini is an animal out there
- kovalev/lang clicking very nicely
- brisebois is gutless and is hurting us bigtime, let's people poke away at our goalie and cannot for his life win a battle on the boards
- plek disappears again against a tough team
- halak solid period, glad he didn't get as much action as the 1st

Story of the Flames since 2006... when Kipper shows up, which isn't as often as it used to be. Turning Ference, Leopold, Hamrlik and Warrener (before injuries wrecked him) into Aucoin, Sarich, Eriksson (minor leaguer now) and other pylons was not the best management by dopey Daryll. Maybe for the sake of Flames fans, he's sitting in the press box watching our young guns like D'ago saying "Hmmm, maybe I should start drafting more natural scorers out of junior instead of clones of Daymond Langkow or Wayne Primeau."

I usually defend Brisebois but tonight he's scary on each of his shifts.

Probably too many games in a row for Pat.

I don't know about Plekanec disappearing. He was an inch away from scoring a goal on that wide open chance he had when he deked his way out front...if he scores there, everyone would talk about what a great game he's playing.

Watching the 2nd Lang goal again - hahahaha what bad defense by Cammalleri. He literally just stands there with his hands by his sides in front of Kipper as Lang swivels around him.

Word up.

He's got 10 goals and that's including all the posts hit and empty nets missed...with a bit more finish he could be our leading scorer.

exactly... same as last year! they hire him as a 7th dman and ends up playing huge stretch of games as a 4th dman on top of that

Pair him with a big body/power forward and his game opens up. When Kovy was on fire, he distracted attention not just because of his hands but because of his size, thus leaving Pleky open to make more plays. On the PP it was the same. But Tomas is having a "bouncebackward" year that can happen to a young player (he's still 25 I believe). So, if Pleks sticks around and we put him with Maxpac, things can start happening for him again. Also, if the Habs ever got Sundin, Pleks would be demoted to the wing. If Higgins' injury is serious, would Bob more strongly consider Mats and then move one of our centres to a vacant wing? I'm not so sure because then S. Kosty gets sent to the minors for sure. D'Ago is here to stay after all, and Lats is Mr. In-and-Out-of-the-Lineup.

I wonder if Higgins and Dandy are on their way to the new center, just to hang out and spend some time in those fancy whirlpools.

Does anybody know if the Habs have "special" waitresses in the new center??

disagree, he's getting shoved around, intimidated. he just plays way too soft sometimes. they also showed a stat early in the 2nd where he was something like 0-7 in the face-off circle

I know. However, if the PP was better we could have an extra goal a night. You can say this about any team but this fact would have allowed the Habs at leats three if not four extra wins this season (Bruins, Flyers, Devils, etc.)
