The D'Ago line is awesome. All 3 guys are so crafty with the puck, and their willing to do the dirty work. The only time they get stuck in their own zone is when Brisebois is on the ice (but the same goes for everybody)

If Kovalev and his line keep this effort up then we're laughing.

Haha, D'agostini with the game winner. This guy is cleaning up. Although that money is probably going right back into the rookie dinner.

Holy ****, I'm scared that a Spoked B will be outside my window staring at my jersey and heavily breathing fog onto my window tonight

I think that is supposed to send a message to the boys that we shouldn't take them lightly. They may be awful, but they still have the ability to chuck some serious points up on the board in any given game.

I hope Dandy and Higgins aren't seriously injured. Anybody heard anything other than the usual, upper body crap?

Habs earned those 4 goals, even discount the first fluky one you need to add in a goal for when the Flame player moved the net off (SO RIDICULOUSLY DELIBERATE) when it was wide open and a puck on a hab stick in slot.

Habs PP played well but Kiprisoff stoned them a bunch of times. Flames PP sucked ass (good PK).

Kovalev played well offensively but still pretty shaky on D. Somehow espn is only crediting him for 1 giveaway but I definitely saw closer 4 or 5. Oh well I can live with that if he's putting points on the board at least.

Briesbois stunk.

I Liked those lines tonight.

Brisebois wouldn't even fight a guy trying to beat up his mother.

The Flames are a tough team. I wonder if the Habs could keep up with them for a 7 game series?

Halak played unbelievable tonight. Without great saves in the first, the Habs might have been out of it.

Did the GM's discuss taking interference out of the game while they were at their conference yesterday? Speed is an equalizer when playing a bigger team, but the officials effectively took that out of the equation for the Habs.

Man I can't wait for Komi to come back. The Habs need a stud in their lineup. I just wish that he could skate like Phaneuf....

i was watching the NHL network and gary green was dissecting habs / flames games and he said without hesitation that he has talked to several scouts and gm's in the NHL who said that 'halak could start on their team. absolutely'

so he becomes a serious bargaining chip for gainey going forward --and more than a 2nd rounded many predict

For sure. All i see is that the flames team hit just for the sake of hitting, and not because the hit will benefit the current play. Any baboon on a pair of skates can do that.

without question they define their success through how they do against us...and they have for years. we are their boogie man... and i have no doubt that 6-1 pasting sent them on this great streak.

i look forward to playing them again
