Korpedo has gone down to the 4th line?... Aye, send him back to Hartford as much as I like the kid.

Have no fear, it's Tom Renney we're talking about. I'm sure the Korpedo will be on another line by the end of the 2nd period.

And 3 games for Prucha in which he scored a huge goal, dropped the gloves and fought when needed and a game where the entire team disappeared... yup, that deserves a trip back to the press box. Why not play him a 4th straight game, especially against a struggling Atlanta team where he might bury another one... oh wait, that may help his confidence and apparently that isn't something Renney wants to deal with....

Yeah, this one confuses the hell out me as well.

They want him to build up his confidence but how will he do that if he doesnt play?

If i were Prucha i'd just go down to Hartford and get some games in. Maybe thats the message they are trying to send, who the hell knows.

I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of us are going to be irate after this game.

While Korp has done little and actually should be in Hartford for his won good, these latest roster and line shananagains are downright absurd..and reek of cluelessness on Renney's part..And,.Oh yeah, we gotta get the great Fredercik Sjostrom and his 10 points in his last 84 games up the third line...Dubi will be happy!..But anything to keep Orr and Sjostrom in!

Prucha, the player who has probably showed the most heart, had a fight, lots of delivered hits, a game tying goal, chances at scoring a couple more in the last 3 games and he sits.

Wow.

I hope he gets traded and I'll cheer for him to score everytime he's at the garden.

I really annoyed Prucha isn't playing. The guy simply outworks nearly everyone on the ice and gets **** on. I hope he goes somewhere else and find his form, then lights a bag of **** on Renney's stoop.

Potter still playing? I like what I saw from him for the most part.

Starting to get really annoyed at Renney... How can you sit Prucha at this point?

How can you change the lines THIS much? Dawes sucks... Quit giving this guy chance after chance. He has no asset that will work in the NHL.

Sjostrom is a 4th line player. He's Ward all over a gain. Can step in here adn there top the top 3 lines, but that is it. He's not any better than that. He doesn't have the vision although he can finish.

Korpedo playing on the 4th line doesn't bug me because he'll still get his ice time. The only negative is the fact that he's playing with 2 guys who are offensively challenged.

Are you ****ing kidding me Tom?

You preach patience but you are changing the lines every period an a half and cant ice the same players 2 games in a row, let alone a lineup for more than 3 games.

You finally start Prucha, he scores a gigantic goal (which is the goal of the week on NYR.com) plays with all the passion in the world, and then you bench him against a team where he could possibly continue getting his confidence back????

And youre talking about patience????

The contradictories continue to pile up.

First search on google, and it's not the only one: http://www.infoukes.com/faq/the_ukraine/

It's the United States of America, or just America. America is singular, while USA is a bunch of states making one union.

Back on topic, I like the new use of Sjostrom, the guy can play. He's been real good, reward him for once (Too bad Renney doesn't feel the same way about Prucha). I'm sure Korpedo won't stay on the 4th line for long though.

here's a thought. Instead of booing Gomez why don't we boo Renney.
Or better yet start a We want Prucha chant.

Oh and he didn't put Prucha on the powerplay once. Like seriously I hope Renney gets canned. He misses the most blatantly obvious line combinations! and doesn't put a powerplay specialist on the powerplay. Seriously, this should be the powerplay combination...

Naslund-Prucha-Zherdev
Gomez- Girardi

All three can shoot.
Gomez can be the quarter back and gain the zone. and Girardi has a decent shot and can prevent shorties.

What makes you think that?

Atlanta's a team they should beat and like every other game they play, they have to get off to a fast start and get the first goal. Hopefully they actually do that this game.

LETS GO RANGERS!

Definitely worth trying a "We want Prucha" chant...

Let them know that he's supported.

This one, I like this one. Like I've said in the past, if a player is repeatedly sucking it up, boo him. If he's doing great, cheer him. Rozy has gotten much better over the course of the last games, time to stop booing him. Get a Prucha chant in, if anything, for his own good. I'm sure Renney will ignore it.

The ideal situation tonight (even if its against Atlanta)-

The Rangers tighten up, get a better forecheck going and support each other up the ice and in their own zone. Quality backchecking with no overskating of the turnovers, no forced cross ice passes, no passes in the skates or into a no-man zone. Feet moving at all times, guys in front of the net and shots getting through from the point. Creative offensive plays resulting in shots in the high slot and deep zone pressure. Powerplay is crisp, decisive and successful, with buried quality chances and a full 60 minute effort resulting in:

Drury: 1 Goal, 1 Assist
Gomez: 2 Assists
Callahan: 1 Goal, 1 Assist
Zherdev: 2 Goals, 1 Assist
Naslund: 1 Goal, 1 Assist
Dubinsky: 1 Goal
Redden: 2 Assists
Girardi: 2 Assists
Stall: 1 Assist
Dawes: 1 Assist
---------

Someone wake me the **** up now.

I believe that's false... I'm pretty sure when Prucha dropped his gloves to fight Lapierre it was on the power play.
