I was thinking that if nothing else, we would at least come out mad and be aggressive. But then this is a road game so who knows which team will show up.

I'd like to think we'll win for old times sake, but my gut says we lose tonight.

I hope we can score at least 3 goals tonight, I miss the offense.

Anyone know who is being called up for tonight?

Paper narrowed it down to Hornqvist, Santorelli, Jones and Ortmeyer.

I'd guess Hornqvist with the dark horse nod to Santorelli.

I think he takes Tootoo's spot with Bonk and Smithson, and also sees power play time over Ward.

Of course, Bonk will still be on the first power play unit, so it's all kind of moot.

Im thinking that a hard fought win against the Jackets is just what Ellis needs to get back in the win column, I would expect him to start at least tonight.

Doubt Jones winds up on our checking line...the guy was sent down in part due to his lack of defensive polish and would make that line so slow it wouldn't be funny.

Wouldn't doubt we see multiple lines shaken up...something like...

Dumont - Arnott - Erat
Pihlstrom - Legwand - Jones
Smithson - Bonk - Fiddler
Belak - Peverley - Ward

or

Dumont - Arnott - Ward
Pihlstrom - Legwand - Jones
Smithson - Bonk - Erat
Belak - Peverley - Fiddler

It turns out that Arnott asked for Jones to come back up for this game-- something about clearing his **** out of the room that Antti is renting...

Trotz is in favor of getting rid of the Instigator Rule ... I believe that is the first time I have heard that out of his mouth, especially since the end of the lockout

I thought that I saw one flake as well. Just to be safe, I pulled my car part of the way off of the interstate and I'm tramping the rest of the way home in snowshoes with backpack full of 12 lbs of trail mix on my back. I have a Harley Davidson cigarette lighter and a can of sterno stuck in my warmup pants (Plaxico style) just in case and a WWI vintage trenching shovel should a snow cave becomes necessary. Wish me luck.

Well I guess we're in a similar boat. My Internet isn't working. I opened up Game Day Chat at ended up with spyware on my computer. Now it's putting rather inappropriate shortcuts on my desktop...

Its tough to lose in a shootout, but at least we got a point. Both goalies played well tonight. Each deserved a win.
