Ticket Question

Hey everyone. I'm looking into buying 2 tickets to some different games for me and my dad, and me and my friend, depending on the game and day I guess. Is StubHub the best place to go for this? The cheapest?

Could I just go to MSG and find a scalper maybe?

Thanks for any advice guys, take care. GO RANGERS!

StubHub is a ripoff, go through eBay.

Take a look at the ticket thread stickied on the top of the page. A lot of people that post here are always looking to unload their tickets if you want to look into that.

Yeah, I just saw that Ticket Thread. Really, StubHub is that bad?

Hm, I'll definitely take a look at eBay then. Thanks a lot guys.

Any word on the scalper situation outside MSG? I've only been there a few times so I wouldn't know. Sorry.

Stubhub is the worst...buying tickets here through the ticket thread or scalping are your best bets buddy

It depends on the game. I've gone to most games this season for face or below buying the tickets a day or so before the game. Stubhub has crazy fees so I'd avoid that. Rangers ticket xchange is the better play if you are buying ahead of time. The scalpers outside the garden are fine unless you get stuck with a fake/used e-ticket and then you are screwed. Craigslist is a great place as well.

***If you go to Stubhub, the day of the game (or night before), the prices will drop significantally where you can get tix below face value...The problem is that is does you no good if you can't print out the tickets right away...I don't think think you can do this for hockey tickets, but for baseball tickets you can print them out right away...For hockey, I have been told you have to wait for them to be delivered to you or you have to go pick them up at their office

Shop all of your available sources. Rangers Ticket Exchange usually has some real good deals, especially at the last minute. You also should check Ticketmaster regularly because the Rangers do release extra tickets to games (even good games) at the last minute. Ebay is also fine and as both a buyer and seller, I've never had a problem with tickets. Just don't wait until the last minute. Stubhub is awfully expensive, but it is a good last resort. Again, you can occasionally find a good buy if you keep checking back regularly.
