Team Canada has owned him large. Too bad Chipchura wasn't playing - Lats! It's up to you to light him up!

Won't making him look like a superstar mean that we need to get at least a decent amount of shots. I...just...don't...know...about....that.
Even with the injuries I think we can beat them. Light up Varlamov boys!!

He's not their backup, he's their future stud, playing his first NHL game. :p

No pity for the Caps, Maxwell will serve a cup of coffee to a defenseman( ) and get his first NHL goal... Dagger will make his way through the Defense and will go nail himself into their hopes of tying the game to overtime like a Dagger through a dying man's chest

Here a quote from Guy Carbonneau today about Guillaume Latendresse on francois gagnon blog

Quote:
Je m’attends à ce que Guillaume en donne autant à notre équipe que Milan Lucic à Boston. Je ne lui demande pas de jeter les gants à tous les matchs. Mais je lui demande de s’impliquer, de frapper et de marquer des buts.»
Hope Guillaume FINNALY understand his role on the team once for all

This feels like it's gonna be a train wreck for the Habs.

Hope the kids can come up big but just have that sinking feeling that tomorrows headline will be a negative one for us.

No, Lats tried to lick the poutine sauce on his lips (instinctive reaction every time there is visual contact between Lats and food) and accidentally bit him.

Lats

I hope this game turns out better than our last game vs Washington. I think the Kostitsyn-Maxwell-D'Agostini line will play well tonight. With Koivu out hopefully Kovy steps up as a leader and breaks out of his goal scoring slump.

Kovy snaps the goal drought wearing the C against a Russian rookie making his first NHL start.

Sounds like a good headline to me.

Forget it... People have been fooled by his training camps. He's never going to play like this anymore, he's just too dumb or too stubborn to do it. It hurts, and Guillaume doesn't like this when it hurts...

I think he's still hung up on the DiMaio hit.

For some reason I have a good feeling about this game. And for me thats pretty rare, so hopefully that means something.

With everything happening on the injury and call-up front, this'll be a very interesting game.

I feel lucky tonight. Gui will score. But I am already drunk. Have fun, I'm off to the bar!
