Derek Roy is an excellent 2nd line capable and a capable 1st line player. Hecht is another story but I wouldn't use the 'linemate excuse' on this one.

Very Close, but i'd slightly take Vanek, just because we could use a sniper like him on the Devils.

Vanek, only if he had someone else to bury the puck with him.

How bout a line of Toews centering Kane and Vanek?

That would be awesome. One Canadian + One American + One Euro = lots of scoring.

In response to the question, I'd give a slight edge to Kane, even though I'm a Sabres fan. The fact that Kane has already done so much at his young age makes me think that he's a very special player.

But don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled with what Vanek has been doing this season. He's making a strong case that he should be counted among the top 10 forwards in the NHL.
