Chicago Fan: Trade Proposal

the blackhawks are looking for a 2nd line center.. and i've read that cammalleri is being shopped.. most probably a bogus statement..

but i would want to know if you would pull the trigger on a trade

Dustin Byfuglien for Mike Cammalleri

??? thoughts

not being shopped, and that proposal wouldn't work.

Cammalleri being shopped is Al Strachan make believe.
That deal isn't enough either, Buff will get you Nylander only because he's being shopped by Washington and on what will be viewed as a brutal contract in the near future.

Yeah. Strachan needs to make something up now and then. Cammy has what Cgy has always wanted... chemistry with Iginla. To rip Cammy from the Flames any trade would need to return much more than that to replace Cammy.... I hope the team resigns Cammellari longer term

Hell no...we've already got enought wingers already. Plus, Cammy can play both wing and center so thats another plus for us.

I think Byfuglien will be a solid second liner in the end, I wouldn't mind him on Calgary at all, but I don't know that this proposal works.

+1. With Aucoin and Bertuzzi gone, we have 6 million in cap space to play with. Give Cammy a raise to 5.5 and we still have 4 million left for another forward and a depth defensemen.

not with how Byfuglien is playing... actually no even if he was playing like he did last season... especially considering his fat new contract... he is in no way worth $3,000,000 per year

He gets paid 3 million! Holy s*** definitely no then... let Mtl keep paying that one and we can dump cash on Cammy and an extension for Boyd

byfuglien for cammy would not work. thats downgrade on speed and skill. isnt byfuglien known for questionable work ethic?

id counter propsal with havlat for cammalleri...if havlat wasnt made of glass and if calgary had a need to get rid of cammy

Only way i could stomach trading Cammellari is if the flames could manage to pry Seabrook away and we all know that ain't happening.

I agree with everyone here though, resigning Cammellari should be Sutters number one priority.

I agree with you.I wouldn't mind having Byfuglien if it meant dealing bertuzzi the other way.

That contract is kind of ugly though but i still think the guy has some huge potential.

Oh well ,these kind of fantasy trade proposals are useless anyways.Nothing every comes out of them. They are fun to think about though.

bufyglien was a healthy scratch this year for you guys a couple guys, is known for a questionable work ethic and gaining weight. hmm and we are going to trade for him (and a 3 million dollar a year contract) for cammalleri, a pending UFA who is on pace for 28 goals and 65 points, and makes a quarter more million dollars than byfuglien? oh wait byfuglien can play d too so that surely evens it out. not!

The major asset Byfuglien has to offer... Calgary has an abundance of. Grit, in a player with hands. We can practically go down the entire roster and pick out a few CGYers that don't bring that to the table.

That, and Byfuglien is done.
