Rick Nash lol what would it take to get him in montreal

What would people in montreal give to have Rick Nash, i know i am dreaming but if its possible to get him , i think he would be a perfect fit in Montreal, i ask the people in the clb forum to see what they think, if Wayne Gretzky was trade lol we never know. so let hear what would be the offer.

I didn't say he wasn't good, I said he wasn't THAT good to give Higgins and Halak. That's too much for a 20 goals' scorer. Sorry.

1st: A few trades to clear some cap spaces.

Then

To Rangers way above the cap: Future consideration
To Habs: Mats Sundin

Sundin cries to be in a crazy hockey city. (if the rumors are true he doesn't want the exposure)

Stortini for Laraque

Stortini= cheaper, younger - Won't complain if he is left in the stands - Has played on the Calder Cup team in Hamilton with many of the Habs' youngsters.

BGL has his mind and heart in Edmonton anyway. Never listen to your mom !

Overpaying from us I think.
Who in this league is a Ray Bourque??? Not one!! The Habs do need a good puck moving defencemen, and Jay Bo is precisely that. I'd make the trade minus Paccioretty, gotta be someone else.

Yes, it's worked wonders so far, habs are tearing up the NHL when it comes to the power play. 1st to 29th, think about that. We are worst then the Islanders for crying out loud. We need alot more than a defencemen to improve this power play.

what are you talking about?

He is not playing on the PP and I guarantee you that he will help..he has a PP point shot, that will make PK units cover him hence less covering kovalev and his shot is strong and precise..hence more chance of hitting the net, more rebound, more rebound pouncing from the forwards...

and also the key is markjov for long-term pp solution..hamrlik could be temporary but if they are looking for a PP shot...hamrlik is it

What would it take to get Kaberle from TO?

Habs need help on the PP. Imagine a Markov-Kaberle PP tandem

Here's the thing. I love Rick Nash. I think the guy is just phenomenal. However, he is also pretty damn lazy. He is kind of choosey as to when he wants to work his ass off or not, and watching him just be uninspired with the puck, it infuriates me watching Blue Jacket games.

It'd probably cost us Higgins, Latendresse, McDonaugh and a 1st.

What has Hamr done for our PP so far this season?

The PP is rotten. They need another top offensive guy back their and Kaberle would fit the bill.

Hammer was never put in on the 1st PP line as the shooter..hes been doing it forever... are you going to tell me that Hammer is a regular PP guy? he is barely on the PP....

So what? Carter value is higher right now than it was last season.

I would say that Higgins, Fischer and a 1st would be pretty close to Carter and a 1st last year.

with saying that Nash is lazy , i did not see him that much to say that but from what i see him with stats and t he team he is being on for the last few years , its must be hard to play with a bad team all the time,

Higgins, Latendresse, McDonaugh and a 1st. this for nash i am not sure if i would give mcdonaugh since i dont know him much but i think just higgins and latendresse wich they probably will be trade soon or later and they dont have much done in montreal , i think i would probably do that trade , plus latendress would be a perfect fit with brassard , they played together in junior team , i think latendress probably doing better their,

Shanahan?

I mean who knows what the relationship now is between him and Bob or if even Montreal is a destination he would come and play the rest of the season . For a powerless power play as Montreal has sported all season something has to be addressed soon.

Shanahan
last 3 seasons on the power play .

11 goals

14 goals

14 goals

If there ever was a signing that seemed now to make much more sense with our PP near league worst and no signs it wants to revive itself

Even if he has slowed down speed wise that fine , use him on the power play exclusively.

Shanahan over Dandy? I think anyone would have to says yes to that. Now with Dandy out on reserve for some months to come the door is now open .

Guess only if the Money is right and with the season rolling on its becoming less and less of a commitment .

I like the fact that when I see O'Byrne and Carle as one d-man, I see Bryan McCabe.

Honestly, I know it's the Leafs but your proposal is ridiculous...
