Wanting to buy a jersey..

last time I went to a game was vs pitts last post-season... me and my buddies bought 20$ go sens go shirts right before the game, and i havent been since.. some friends are visiting from mtl and we're going to the habs game in Jan.. they got their jerseys ready, and i think it's time i got one too. How much would a regular adult jersey (Alfie, home) cost? I took a quick look around the Sens Store last week, and they had a wide variety going upwards of 200+. I'm just looking for a regular jersey, like the ones 20, 000 ppl wear to the sens games. Doesn't have to be autographed or anything like that. Thx 4 ur time

A non-customized adult jersey will cost you $129.99, and a customized adult jersey (meaning, if it's Alfie it would have his name, numbers, and the C) will cost you $199.99... the deal at The Sens Store right now is buy a jersey and receive a $75 ticket voucher to a few select games.

Oh, sweet deal, I'm going to have to save up some cash for that.

So is it 130$ for a plain jersey, no name, no number.. and 200$ for Alfredsson, 11, and the C.

Also, what's the difference between the jerseys at sens store, sportschek, sports experts, and somewhere online like nhl.com.. im part of the nhl.com newsletter, and recently i've got a few emails from them with sales and stuff about jerseys for the coming holidays..

or try ebay, you have time.

http://cgi.ebay.com/19-JASON-SPEZZA-...3A1%7C294%3A50

just get the details right and be sure its not a cheap replica. Cross reference sizes with the store and stuff...

the one above is a pro jersey, exponentially better than the replica (IMO) for about 110$ CDN, shipping incl.

I have one of these (Heatley). It's a beauty, and when I drive to Minnesota (8 hrs from Winnipeg) to see the Sens play the Wild, I may need my fightstrap.

Anybody have any experience with that particular seller above ^ ?

Seems like from his feedback that his items are shipped from China?

No experience, but you're right about the asian-made knockoff thing. I've seen these, they certainly fooled me.

So they look pretty good? I want to get one, and I don't mind getting a fake one, as long as they arnt cheap looking, looking at his feed back most people seem impressed with them. The sens ones dont look to bad from the pics, but the vancover and montreal ones dont look great.

I'm pretty sure it's the jersey I have. I paid $100 from a jersey dealer for it, he said it was an asian-made fake. Everything about it is sweet, the lettering, numbers etc, all sewn. Fight strap etc, looks pretty damn legit. Says "made in canada" which I find amusing.

The authentic ones are still made in Canada. The replicas are all done overseas.

sorry to bump up this old thread, but i haven't been on the computer much since i first started it..
so by the looks of things, would it be fair to say that the majority of ppl at SBP would be wearing replicas, and not authentic jerseys?

Hey PM me if your interested but I can get you an "Authentic looking jersey" for $150. It will have any player's name on it such as Heatley, Spezza, Alfy etc. The only downfall is it might say "Made in China" but no one would see it. I can't tell you where I'm getting the jerseys from but it's my friend and he sells NBA, NFL, and NHL jerseys.

If you want proof I can show you the jersey I bought, I'll upload a picture and send it to you. I think it's pretty good so totally up to you.

Note: This is not an actual authentic jersey but it looks better than the replicas, has a name on it, is a fairly good price as well

95% of people wear replicas, these are the 139.99$ (blank) jerseys available just about anywhere like Sports Experts.

fewer people have the "pro" jersey that retails for like 289.99$ most easily distinguished by the fight strap. I assume this is what you mean by 'authentic' but its actually called the pro. This one is the same jersey they wear in game. higher quality based on material, material thickness, size of logo, seam stitching, fit... You notice the difference when you wear it, but hardly notice when you see it. If you have the money a pro jersey is well worth it for the real fan IMO. If its a gift dont bother unless youre really trying to impress someone who knows their ****.

I cant speak for any Chinese knock offs however.

I snagged a couple on ebay from zone sports, they are BIN for 73 US but I offered him 60 US and got two...there probably similar to the ones agent was talking about, ill let you know what there like when I get them, but from the pictures they had everything like the pro jerseys, name, number, fight strap, etc.

Hopefully I'll get them before the xmas holidays next week and let you know what there like

Very practical. If there's spring flooding you can use it to make sandbags too.
