I was hoping a Habs player would take the puck and give it to the refs...you know, as a souvenir. Not everyday that you get 3 assists in an NHL game.

I can`t remember the last time a game has left so much of a bad taste in my mouth.

That was a pretty embarassing display by the refs and Carolina. 11 straight penalties should jus never happen. Ever.

What I was trying to say is they didn't take enough time to review it...I didn't say it correctly I guess.

Probably? You actually have any doubt? Heck he'd complain that there were so many non call against the Canes and that they should have been on the powerplay the entire game.

This is also not new, but it also shows how much of a joke NHL officiating is.

Games that have left me with a bad taste in my mouth:
1. Last game of the season between Habs and Leafs..where the habs lost and didnt make the playoffs
2. Habs Bruins in the playoffs when Kovalev got slashed, bumped into Souray, Murray scores.

I can't take much more of this nightly frustration, mixed in with the occasional flash of brilliance from this team. EVERY time we lose it seems like something ridiculous pops up..an own goal, Nylander's fluke goal, not showing up to play lesser teams, blowing a 3 goal lead in a minute (ok, that was a win, but you get my drift), the PP incompetence, and the latest with tonight's gong show by the Habs indiscipline and the refs.

On top of all of that, the team I hate the MOST is having the type of season I thought we would have.

This season was originally supposed to be a fun and enjoyable season, right? RIGHT?!?! (&%&^$%*#$&^$&

holy ****
refs really ****ing sucked tonight, they should be fired and beat up
even with all those pk, habs were still in the game and could have won
carbo and gainey better complaint and send the tape to the nhl else i will lose a big chunk of respect for the habs organization

the only game that come close to this ****fest was the last game of the season last year for the diving canes vs the panthers (?)
they had like 10 pp against 0

I hate the Canes more than Boston right now. That was an embarassing display of officiating in a game and their swim team certainly put on a show for them. The positive is that we were almost even in shots and had a SHGF, god damn panzies.

its tough to be mad at the team. There is nothing you can do. The fans will complain, a media outlet may even question it however like always the league will put its head in the same so its not worth discussing much.

Hopefully injured players come back cause Kovalev hasn't stepped up his game an ounce and neither have Lang, Tanguay, or Akosts. Lats looked good but is it another one gamer.

The defense looked bad tonight or did the ice have anything to do with it. Breezy was garbage again and tonight didn't even get a softie goal. Hammer and Gorges both were bumbling with the puck. Hammer taking the bulk the physical load will begin to take its toll.

Indeed.

I can't wait for the day where the refs actually call the game by the book and kick him out of the 20 faceoffs he takes in a game. It'll never happen, but one can wish...

I also can't wait for someone to lay him the F out with an open-ice hit. BitOf'Love won't get any sympathy from me whatsoever when he's down n' out.

Yeah, I'm angry and I *** hate the Hurricanes.

I didn't say he was bad tonight, I said Tanguay has been iffy recently, much like Kovy has for most parts of the season.

I agree that he had some nice flashes but he still does those stupid moves that just put the team in a tough situation. He has to be a bit more clutch.

I wouldn't go that far. He's still making a ton of soft plays that are resulting in giveaways.

Bright spots of the game:

1. Kovalev finally scored..doesn't mean his slump is over even though he played a good game. It's about consistency.
2. Latendresses shot on the penalty shot
3. Halak's play. He had no chance on all of the goals.
4. Killing 8 penalties..even though we gave up 3.
5. Plekanec played really well tonight on the PK keeping it in the canes zone for about 10 seconds.

Any more?
