OMG Price is being shopped on the trade market!

at this rate it was bound to happen. Halak has been ok, but he cant play all the games. now we will see just how much progress Denis has made

It sounds like a conspiracy

Listen how the scenario takes place

The team don't play in front of Halak,

But The team lays in front of Denis.

Results, Denis steals the no 2 Job from Halak, making him tradeable at the trade deadline...

If it happens like that, I will cry...

CONSPIRACY I TELL YA!!

I'd rather have Missiaen just stand there.

he's a sub-par no 1 Goalie in the AHL, why would he be better in the NHL?

he's the 16th best goalie in the AHL right now

in a top 20 FYI

Not a big deal, he's played in the nhl before and most teams have back-ups who aren't #1 NHL goalies. He'll be alright, even if he isn't, doesnt hurt to see if he's ready to be there for us if any of our goalies goes down long term. I'm not gonna lose sleep over it.

I like Halak but he has lost 3 in a row. I am all for a change up, prolly make the team play better in front of him. Plus he has NHL defensemen working with him, that has to account for something.

Denis has played well in Hamilton, why not give him a shot?

It's not like he was always a horrible goalie, this isn't Andre Racicot we are talking about here.

As a solid back up in the #2 position I think he would be fine, and if we could trade Halak for some help I'm all for it because we need it and let's face the reality of having both Price and Halak together for years to come ain't gonna happen.

Remember Garon and Theodore both wanted to be #1's at their young age together, well same scenario here folks.

I'm going to the Saturday and the Sunday games... and no Koivu, Higs, Price. At least Komi should be back and I won't have to hear Brunet's nonsense.

Halak didn't lose 3 games in a row, its his team that lost.

No surprise here, why not give the guy a shot. He has something to prove. Not to mention he's played many games in the NHL, so its not like he is some rookie coming in cold.

I agree to give him a shot. But I'm scared too 'cause he wasn't playing well AT ALL lately. Seemed to me like the old Denis was back for a few games. Those highlights on the AHL site were not looking too great to say the least...

I hear you but sometimes you have to shake it up, also I want to see if Denis has anything left in the tank and can still be an NHL goalie.

Yea but he helped a LOT the team the last 3 games they lost. Imagine Denis plays saturday and that the team wins because they are tired of losing... Denis will gain some credit from Halak. Halak is part of team, Denis is not yet. Also, Halak is gaining confidence, why bench him now? Do we really care about Denis, he has no value at all in the market compared to Halak.

Just let him wear the opposing team's jersey and he'll play lights out.
