I think Aufiero, Martz, and Rawlyk have less chance making the NHL than the guy we took in the 9th round. I wouldn't even consider them. And where is Dubinsky and Ryan?

I also don't think Aufiero or Martz are Ranger property anymore.

I listed 36 players who I feel are good NHL prospects with a shoot at making it to the NHL. I think we have incridible depth. A player ranked 30th could end up beeing the number 10. From 10-30 I doubt there is a org. in the league that would come close to us...

1. Montoya
2. Tyutin
3. Lundqvist
4. Jessiman
5. Prucha
6. Balej
7. Korpikoski
8. Murray
9. Kondratiev
10. Immonen
11. Pock
12. Helminen
13. Olver
14. Labarbarera
15. Baranka
16. Dubinsky
17. Bahensky
18. Byres
19. Lampman
20. Graham
21. Liffiton
22. Kozak
23. Wiseman
24. Taylor
25. G. Moore
26. D. Moore
27. Jonasen
28. Marek
29. Dawes
30. Hollweg
31. Guenin
32. Billy Ryan
33. Callahan
34. Stals
35. Holt
36. Crabb
37. Potter

Players who I left out who have a shoot to make it to the NHL are Ulmer, Fallardeu, Grenier and Giroux. Donīt think they have a resemblance of a future upside in the NHL. I also left out our late round picks this year. Donīt know much about them.

I saw him live 3 times at the WJC in Finland and he is very one-dimensional and has some flaws in his game that I donīt think he will overcome. I hope I am wrong and I loved his attitude but that is just my opinion after seeing him 3 times.

I disagree with your ranking, but respect your explanation.....he should be around 15 or so in my book

Talk about forgetting people (Dubinksy and Ryan).

They wouldn't be in my top 25, but in the late 20s/early 30s.

I think Martz still has a good chance and Rawlyk has played very solid hockey this year. I think he has the opportunity to move up. We'll see.

Aufiero still has potential.

I don't know. It's hard ranking them down there haha.

When did Martz have to sign by? The 15th?

he just finished his senior year so I think its June 15 2005 if im correct. I hope Rangers sign him. Let him play a year or 2 in hartford. He has size and maybe can be a 4th line checking centre in the future. Maybe a Brian Skrudland type before he was on the Rangers, in his prime.
