It was vertigo and to my knowledge the Flyers realized the huge mistake they made in giving him a contract and used his health to strongarm him into a buyout. Good move, we found out that Frank can play and even Burke is an upgrade over Hack-job.
Frank > Burke >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hackett

Before Hackett had that vertigo problem he was playing allright.

I'd rather have a healthy Hackett then Burke.

Stats aren't everything, but they do say something for how the goalies played last year.
W L T GAA SV% SHO
Hackett : 10 10 6 2.39 .905 3

Burke: 6 5 2 2.55 .910 1

Neither player's stats are anything remarkable, but remember a handfull of Hacketts losses were when he wasn't healthy.

Hack was not that bad. When he started fast everyone was saying how great he was. What we have now are not game brakers. An up grade would not be a bad thing but there is nothing out there at the moment. There is only one great goalie in the league right now and he is going no where.

Yeah, Luongo's going nowhere. Only an idiot would trade him... or Mike Milbury. :lol

He was talking about Brodeur I think. Personally I have seen nothing from Luongo(haven't seen him play a lot) to justify al lthis hype. Giguere was the much better goalie at the World Championships.
