Carle & Lupul + conditional 1st for Bouwmeester, but who knows. Who cares too, it's a pipe dream. With Sundins contract pro-rated...look for the Canucks to be heavy players in the J.Bo sweepstakes.
I think it would take more than Jones, Lupul, and a 1st to get it done, but thats my vote. I could actually see it happening because moving those guys would move salary off the books. They would probably need another stud prospect in there, most likely Parent or Giroux.
Although, I think a trade like that would really "blow up" the team even though the only current NHLer you are moving is Lupes.
Bouwmeester is the most overrated player in the league. Let someone else give up a gold mine for him. Hasn't anyone learned from the Lindros deal that these types of players are detriments around here? Seriously, I want no part of any prima donna and Bouwmeester is a prima donna.
If there's anyone from Florida I'd want, it'd be Keith Ballard.

What exactly has Bouwmeester done to make him a primadonna? And who is saying anything about giving up what was given up for Lindros?

We don't need this trade
Erm, ideally we sign him long-term after trading for him.
Reason #1: I believe Bouwmeester will cost more than any of those options. Maybe something like Lupul, Carle/Coburn, Giroux and Parent. He's going to be a hot commodity, so he won't be easily acquired by trading Florida a player no one here seems to want (Jones), a chronic underachiever (Lupul) and a potential late first round draft pick.
Reason #2: I actually like how this team looks right now. Bouwmeester is a great player, but he may not be enough to get this team over the hump, especially if the Flyers have to move one or more roster players to get him here.
In the net, the Flyers don't need a Luongo/Brodeur/Lundqvist to win the Cup; Biron is more than capable, as he proved last season.
Once Carle has fully adjusted to his role in Philly, the top four of Timonen, Coburn, Carle and Vaananen will be as good as any top four in the East. Alberts seems to be settling in alright after a rough first month and any of Jones, Parent or Sbisa would be a suitable compliment on the third pairing.
Injuries are going to happen, but if this team gets lucky and has a full, healthy roster come playoff time, I'm fine without any big push for a wildcard like Bouwmeester.

Whats wrong with trading Carle for someone like Bouwmeester? Or do you mean Carle, Giroux and Parent? No team will give up that much.
I voted Carle and Lupul and Parent or Carle and Lupul and 1st conditional.
Do people actually realize that Bouwmeester is top 10 d-men in the NHL in his prime?
If his contract demands are affordable how can anyone say no.
I mean all of us love Timonen, right? Well, Bouwmeester is 6.4 220lbs Timonen and 5-6 younger and can put someone like Malkin into the boards with out taking a penalty on every god damn shift.

I meant all of Lupul, Giroux and Parent and one of Carle/Coburn.
You're right, Bouwmeester is coming into his prime and is already established as a top notch defenseman. I expect two roster players and two prospects will be the asking price for Bouwmeester.
