No one over here asks that question, they just accept it.
I doubt that snow is going to cancel the final I have tonight though. I am hoping, but I doubt it
It's being weak, imo.
One time when I was younger and cold weather actually existed in central Sweden, I went to school in -26C. That caused for bragging because it was the coldest almost all of us had ever experienced. We didn't stay home.

Being in the Bay Area, we don't see "snow days" ever. Actually, we don't see snow ever (minus the rare once every 10 or 15 years a couple flakes come down)

Well, thanks to global warming we're gradually turning into a mediterranean climate over here in Scandinavia. The last couple of years there's been obvious differences compared to just a decade ago. So while Spain, Greece and Italy enjoy their soon to be desert filled countries we'll have great weather and drinks down at the beach and all the tourists will flock.

come on now, ask certain people.
Global warming doesn't exist
I am going snowboarding soon, so I will see some snow

It's not about the cold, it's about the icy conditions. People can't seem to handle it. Yesterday there was a stretch of highway here that had like a dozen cars in the ditch.

Well, I'm in not snowy San Diego, got to take a philosophy final today at 8am, and got to take it with 2.5 hours of sleep on top of that. Plus, I leave back for San Jose today and miss the whole Detroit game. So
Though, sun > snow.
Oh, and with my school being in Gonzaga's league, I just have to throw it out. I hate your basketball team. There. I said it. Got a problem with that??

Actually, it snowed in parts of Down Town SJ in 2006. While I was at a Gretzky Hour at Sharks Ice (Then Logitech), I noticed the snow fall in the windows. Once I stepped outside, the parking lot and cars were covered in a blanket of snow. My ride home was amusing, everyone was wondering why my car had snow all over it.

Here's the token Canadian comment...brace for it.
It was approximately -46 degrees Celcius (with windchill) all week in Saskatoon and no one blinked.

Well, you live in a pretty farked up climate with hot summers and bitter winters. We have the Golf stream mellowing things up here. Without it we'd have colder weather than the Yukon territory...

Maybe SJ schools should implement "cold days." If the high does not go above the FRIGID 45F (), school should be cancelled. I may catch hypothermia if I walk out in those conditions!

Yea I'm pretty used to it now, when it hit -20Cish for a bit that one day it felt pretty nice haha. The worst was the stretch in January last year that saw temperatures consistently in -50C's
