EKLUND RUMOUR: Major deal - MIN/MTL

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Eklun...s-Away/1/18474

Eklund said he heard from several sources that the Wild are really trying to pull off a major deal tonight before midnight and that it may involve the Habs, i also read from someone else there that Gaborik was pulled off the ice because of some "discomfort"

so.... we know there won't be a deal between the habs and the wild in the next 5 hours. That's all there is to know.

Gaborik is playing tonight so we should keep a close eye on whether he leaves the game early or not.

I don't trust E-Clown, never had and never will, but I would really like to see Gaborik in a Habs jersey.

To bring him over, the Habs need to deal a big salary. the only one that I see is Tanguay who is going to be a UFA too next July.

Forget it, nothing is going to happen. Doesn't make any sense.

That being said, Burt the dog has a prostate cancer... That dog is too cute to pass away .

that's what happens when Eklund has a big day of nothing of his ''sources''. He makes up bullcrap like this, it's too bad for him cause i'm sure that on some occasions his source is legit, but he just keeps shooting himself in the foot with the BS he brings to keep his clientele coming daily

Fri, Dec 19 Gaborik (lower body) felt some discomfort in his "lower body" injury and left a pre-game skate early on Friday. "We'll see Gabby's situation tonight," Assistant coach Mario Tremblay told the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

TheFourthPeriod and other columnists are also saying the Wild are trying to pull something major.

Risebrough and Lemaire were both unavailable to the media this morning because Tremblay said they were in some "meeting" i think there has to be something going on but im not sure if its with the Habs or not..

Eklund is good at one thing...thats that generating trafic to his site...

With Sundin signed he needs a new way to attract the most rabbid fans in the league (thats us)

the guy is a fraud...plain and simple and i've seen it offhand when i succesfully got him to post one of my made up rumors about Plekanec a couple of years ago

yes he's had a few "good" ones...but guess what...my girlfriend who isnt a hockey fan probably could have matched his record

I wonder why the media is all over Gaborik, like he was faking his injury or something....

We can't give a 4th rounder in a draft held in Montreal

We overpay. You have to be patient with Conboy, its not worth trading him

Edit: looks like everyone had the same thing in mind

then the deal is off the table. I'd only consider doing it without the cheese curds.
