What would it take (just wondering) to trade for Kyle Turris?

He isn't going to be traded. You don't just trade 3rd OA picks.

Not in their 1st year. And he potted 2 last nite, so he's back to Godlike status.

Pat Kane or James vanRiemsdyk. Even then, maybe not(they aren't centers). Contrary to what we've learned from Crosby and Ovechkin, it sometime takes kids a little while to develop fully. Just ask Vincent Lecavalier and Joe Thornton. Or Steve Stamkos, for that matter.

It would take a serious overpayment of an elite top 10 forward in the league involved. Regardless, he is untouchable and not worth discussing.

Anyone who held him in any lower regard because of his relatively humble production early in his first NHL season probably suffers from myopia, and ADD. The lack of patience from the children at hfboards is often quite frustrating. Did you all tear into your Christmas presents on the 23rd of December, as children? Do you eat dinner at 3pm? Dessert a 2:55? Drive 95 in 45 zones? Ask your employers for advances on every pay check? I swear, there is such a large percentage of these fools on this board that just need to slow the eff down and shut the eff up. Not everything can happen RIGHT NOW.

Gonna go with nothing on this one... I'm sure I wouldn't be the only coyote fan to quit going to games if they traded him.

I know the 'Yotes aren't trading him, I was just wondering what he's worth. I'd be pissed if they traded him, I like watching the young talent on that team.

from what I've seen of Turris he looks like a scrawny little b@#$h. He's been outplayed by every other player under the age of 25 that Phoenix has used. He needs to be sent down so that he can learn the right way to play with other men on the ice. He may turn into a hockey god in the future, but right now he is a waste of my hockey viewing time.

Which is obviously not much. Either that or you have no idea what you are looking at.

I remember hearing Sakic tosses around. Those are pretty high expectations for a kid, but if he can become anything close to Sakic, he'll be a damn good player.

Sakic, Yzerman and Kariya are the most common comparisons, and they seem apt so far. The numbers don't show it yet, but he's turned a corner.
