I wouldn't call it number 9 quicker than I'd call it his retirement concusion.

Yeah, but that's what everybody said about #8 :lol

Whether the next one ends his career is anybody's guess... but it seems very likely that he's going to get another concussion, and when he does it's very likely that he'll miss a lot of hockey while he recovers. If we could get him cheap, I'd consider the risk, but I wouldn't want to be in the situation of having a lot invested in him.

I question the strength of their relationship if it can't survive without the Manhattan bar scene.

If she's not really that shallow then she's taking a beating from all kinds of media, and I've never seen this storyline attributed to anything stronger than idle speculation.

If Zhamnov could be had for 3-4 million a year, he would have resigned with the Flyers. He is holding out for more money then that. He will probably end up signing for aroung that amount, but if he does, I believe the FLyers will keep him. Gagne scored 10 goals over a 12 game span or something close to that while playing with Zhamnov.

Lindros to Edmonton?

Do you honestly think this is going to happen? I highly doubt any oiler fans will see this as possible. Why would one nhl star join an nhl club with no stars? Of all the places lindros would take a paycut why would he choose edmoton?

Why would anyone go backwards from a big city to country farm land? This is not ever going to happen. Eric to the leafs or another big city.

That question is the equivalent of me asking why do people buy lottery tickets?
Thanks for coming out.

Selanne when he went to San Jose

I hope he goes to Toronto too. Leaf fans like yourself deserve a player like Lindros, Hart.

I'm not sure how spending $35 million a year on salaries makes anybody poor but better that than stupid and arrogant.

Lindros needs to be about 5 years older to be able to play for the leafs... he's not quite old enough, or useless enough yet.

He'll be traded for the next aging superstar that will get the Leafs the cup...

I'm actually suprised that they have managed to keep Stajan and Colaicovo.

Then again, this will be just like the 80's... a crappy team with 2 good players who get nothing but pressure heaped onto them.

They've continually given away their draft picks, and if there is any cost certainty in the new NHL, it's going to be tough when their players start retiring.
