Not if they control the play in the other teams' zone.
Those 3 -- with their size -- couldn't control the play in a D3 college game. That line is just asking to be hunted on the ice. There is zero toughness to that line and frankly Nodl and Upshall are not good enough offensively to even warrant being put out there on a line like that.
Good. Nodl was okay, but, as said already, he needs to start scoring. He was going to become Thoresen part 2 if he continued the way he was.
Hopefully this doesnt mess up any of his development, but he is still very young, so he should be good.
Nodl is a young rookie. I beleive he's 21. His has a solid all around game for such a young player. His value to the team wasn't scoring. That's not why he was on the team. The scoring will come in time.
Since Knuble doesn't do a lot 5 on 5, and if we were to bring up Giroux at some point, why not try him with two guys who can be Selke candidates;
Gagne Richards Giroux
Hartnell Carter Lupul
Upshall Briere Knuble
I really don't get it when people say that Knuble doesn't do a lot 5 on 5. As if scoring goals was the only thing that matters in Hockey. Giroux didn't make this team for a specific reason. And now you want to put him on the top line? I'd have to pass on that.

Your obviously just looking at goals scored. Knuble is solid in 5 on 5. He's responsible defensively. He wins board battles. He's very strong on the cycle game. He goes to the net well and creates space for his linemates. All things that don't show up on the scoreboard. If your just focused on goals and assists, your missing a lot of what happens on the ice. His physical presence is a strong compliment to Richards and Gagne. And was the same, when he played with Carter.
Jokinen has gone 15 straight games without registering a point. He was waived from the worst team in the League. there has to be a reason for that. I'll pass.

So true, so, so true. Many people on here are going to be disappointed because Knuble is most likely going to be re-signed here--and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a two-year deal. He is still an important member of this team.

Yeah I have to agree with you for once. Why the hell would we want Jokinen.
