And Buffalo had 5, big difference between 11 to 2 and 9 to 5.

Character win. There were some worrisome moments and every time Buffalo took the lead you had to wonder if the Habs would find a way to comeback, but they did.

Miller and Halak put on a goaltending clinic in the 3rd.

I get scared whenever we are on the PK. The PP still is a work in progress, despite 2 goals tonight. That 1st 4 on 3 was FUGLY.

Thank god Kovalev has awakened. And solid game for Sergei too. Now when does Plekanec wake up already?

True, but I guess you really can't complain about officiating because throughout the season there are going be be games when you get 10 pp and when you give up 10 pp. We all know NHL officiating is not the most consistent. .

Begin was a beast tonight the Buffalo locker room is going to smell like a Ben Gay factory

BGL I know he's slow skater but players bounce off him and he goes wherever he wants and no one can stop him.

Kovalev almost cost us the game but he corrected his mistake and played great. The worse player was Maxwell but can't blame him he's a young rookie and Buffalo is a very fast team.

Miller was definitely the savior for Buffalo if that was Thomas it would of been 10-3

Welll we ALL do it. Obviously you guys probably don't so much 'cause you're winning. But should I go back to some game threads and you can guarantee that I won't find you guys whining about the refs as well?

As I figured, Kovy has taken off since he got the monkey off his back. He's not really playing better, his shots are just finding a way in.

I'm getting pissed with the f$#%ing zebras, they must follow him around to call every chintzy thing they can on him. The 2 calls today were borderline at best, just puck battles. The second one the guy had his stick in his ribs, they could have called that instead as a hook or obstruction.

Nah, I've had my fair shares, heck I was yelling at my TV today. What I meant was, as fans, even though we do complain, it usually evens itself out throughout the season.

Sergei and Lats have both really stepped up the last 3-4 games. Lats got less ice time tonight, but still got a few good hits and drew a PP on the winner. I hope he keeps doing the job in front on the PP, I think he's done his part in the PP turnaround, with him in front we are getting more point shots and some are going in.

All I can say is this game was boring as hell in the first 30 minutes, but holy crap was it exciting the last half.

I can't complain, this is exciting on the edge of your seat hockey, **** the trap, two open teams, back and forth in the goal column, can't complain, everyone played great, if though some guys started the game off the slow, they all picked up their feet near the end.

Congratz to Sergei and Lats, its what? four games they're playing well? I'm glad they're showing hustle!

Another win pulled with a good third period ... next time play like that right at the start, that would stop pissing the fans and raise the blood pressure

Up and down game. This team is so bi-polar. They can dominate just as easily as they can be hemmed in their zone for two straight minutes.

Kovalev showed up when he needed which is HUGE however those two penalties still leave you shaking your head. He gives you the good, the bad, the ugly almost every night. Hopefully at some point, he can put it all together like last year.

The PP is getting better. Still far too stationary and constantly looking for the cross ice pass.

Should be interesting when players get healthy if skosts continues to play better. Lots of competition.

This board slays me.

60 minutes of complaining against Kovalev and the refs.

Then Kovalev scores after TWO (!!!) OT penalties against the Sabres.

Great game! We really pulled it off!!! So entertaining!!!!
