Laraque did play well tonight and Carbo used him up until the end of the game, would have got a goal if it wasn't for the Sabres D holding his stick!!

everybody forget that kovy took 2 penalties which resulted in 2 goals for buffalo.
However, he tied the game and game winner

Mr. Alex "Playmaker" Tanguay now has 10 goals, tying Lang for #1 on the team. Funny how these things turn out.

why was Dagger taken off of Tanguay's line anyway?

I'm hoping it wasn't a demotion. He was playing well, imo.

Maybe Carbo thought his speed would be better used on a different line?

Any game in which Kovy scores a GWG, well, his penalties can't have been too costly in the end can they?

In Sergei's case of course
Sergei looked great again tonight. He has scored 3 goals in the last two games.

Kovy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a beauty of a shot to win it in overtime. A bullet like shot top shelf.

And Begin......The human wrecking ball. He was banging everything in sight tonight. Played a very tough game tonight.

Pleks showed some flash and almost had the game winning assist on that play to Lang. which ended up with Lang knocking the net off the posts before the puck went into the net.

Overall a very nice win. Came from behind more than once to win it.

I dunno, maybe to get a vet on in the last minutes of a tie game?

Why that vet would be BGL, though, I'm not sure.

I thought both calls on Kovalev were questionable. The first penalty I thought was a make-up call for his accidental follow-through contact. And, besides those 2 calls, and his 2 points, he created lots of offense all night. I thought he played a good game myself.

Well I don't know,no one knows what goes on in Carbo's head but he did use him on the pp in OT so that's a good thing,he also picked up an assist

Played well again, and also with a second left at the end of the 3rd I thought that shot was going in,very sneaky Mr.D'agostini

I thought that move payed dividends ten fold. Not only did the Lang-Tanguay-Laraque line have a few great shifts, the Maxwell-D'Agostini-Begin line had a great shift out there as well, also had one pretty brutal one too. I think Carbs put D'Agostini on that 4th line to even them out, Carbs couldn't use a line of with Begin, Laraque and a green rookie in the last 10 minutes but by switching Laraque and D'Agostini, he could use both lines effectively...it worked, that was a nice piece of coaching there.

He tired the entire Sabres roster in the 3rd period,im sure Sekaras won't forget Steve!!!

Big effort ince again from him, not surprised and missed a great scoring chance in the 2nd

Totally agree on this, both calls were lame.

I personally can't believe the hate for Kovy out in Habsland. Relax people, he's not a superstar, never was and never will be, but he is the Habs most talented player.

I can't wait for Koivu to come back, I like Maxwell but he's not ready.

Yes you answered your own Question. He was on the ice for the GWG in overtime on the PP with Kovy.

Not many team in this league can win hockey games with 3 important forwards (A.Kostitsyn, Koivu, Higgins) and their starter (Price) out.

Buffalo is not an easy team to play against. They are fast and have a good transition. Maxwell does need more experience in the aHL and strength but these games are good for him as he now will know how much he will need to improve to be NHL ready in the future.
