Hey guys. Does anyone know a place to get power skating lessons preferably in the West Island or Downtown?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

I know Gaston Gingras runs power skating in DDO. There is also anna sherbatov. She's incredible, but shes more private. Im sure the local hockey association has power skating clinics.

anna is great, be prepared though, she is very tough, and her methods of are not for everybody. Nadeau-Leblanc run all kinds of powerskating programs out of the 4 glaces in Pierrefonds, contact them. They also have a neat gym that they just opened for off-ice workouts.

Ha ha, ya she is crazy. I work at Hockey Montreal during the summer, so im with her all summer. She even yells at the 6 year old kids who are trying to skate. She has no sympathy for anyone, but if you can suck it up, she's great.

Like you said, her techniques are not for everyone, but she really did help my skating so it's not bad as long as your not the crappiest skater on your team.

This is a good one also. He is pretty popular in the West Island. My buddy actually works for him, and he had nothing but good things to say about the program. I dont know if you're looking for instruction right now, but in the summer, as I said before, you can go to Hockey Montreal and skate with Sherbatov.

My son did both years back. Both good although Sherbatov not for everyone. Definitely more advance, not as user friendly and not as hockey specific. Palladini is better for kids, different groups for different ability, much more hockey specific.

Anna Sherbatov is a figure skater by training and most of her drills are without the stick. Not saying its bad, just not for everyone. Also Palladini is much more organized, offering multiple classes for all schedules.
