Good D man that played for Owen Sound in the OHL with Bobby Ryan. His best year was 21 goals in 05/06. He looked pretty good tonite

Hey a question for english folk.
During the Halak interview , me and my friend counted 15 *You know* .

I told my friend english people repeat this to feel more confident during their speech! To add Sauce in the poutine!

I am true? But Halak ain't english . So that enforce my logic.I noticed that non-english player repeat it more often!

Or enlighten me!

I know for sure i don't .. (you know (lloll)) say *tu sais* after each sentence!!!!

Those "You know"s and the like are used like "Hmmm" as commas...short pauses...

Not everyone who speaks in English is thinking in English...many a time they are translating from their mother tongue.

It must be a Czech/Slovak thing. Lang does it all the time also.

Anyway, just got back from the game. It was very good action. If it wasn't the Habs attacking, it was the Sabres, great battles.

After the game, Lindy Ruff had a long staredown with the refs before going to the locker room. Can't say I totally disagree with him, but most of those penalties were deserved.

IMO, BGL has been unfairly criticized a lot around here. He has some off games, but he draws a lot of penalties.

Erm, it is not specific to the Slovak etc peoples...

Also, as it was discussed on RDS, BGL rarely gets penalties himself...

In Sergei's case of course
lol, I know

I said a few days ago that Gorges wasn't the answer and that Carbo should let little Sergei on the right point with Markov so he can get used to this position and gain some confidence. I guess that I was right once again It paid big time for the past 2 games. I hope that Sergei stays there for awhile. When you look in the line-up, there are no better options than Sergei to play this position.

P.S: What's happening to Plakanec ?! Did Higgins gave him his disease or what ?!

You're a really amusing poster. But you're right on this one (Sergei at the point).

what a shot by Kovalev. looking like last year, coming off the half wall with the confidence to shoot and to score. I love it.

Thanks.

I hope he took that shot because he couldn't live with himself after that penalty.

It's always great to see a come back win for us, it just proves the remarquable character this team has. As for Pleky, there is something in his game that has changed a lot due to the loss of all the confidence he had. He's very nervous with the puck and often seems to take his decisions too quickly, as if he just wants the puck far away from him asap.

Plekanec from last year could keep the puck once he entered the zone and watch a whole ****world of plays be drawn infront of him, then he'd pass the puck to Kovy or Kostitsyn and skate towards the net looking for a rebound.

I was watchin' the Pens **** the bed against the Leafs, after the game, they tuned into your game for OT. I just wanted to post here to tell you guys I would have been LIVID for you, had you lost. That goal that you scored in OT, that got waved off... was TOTALLY A GOAL. Lang (or whoever it was, did NOT knock the net off, the Sabre pushed it off after the Hab hit the post with his leg, and passed by. If you hadda lost, I would have been super angry if I was you.

Kovy got both penalties the Sabres scored on, but Lats drew both penalties the Habs scored on (well, one of them in the 5-on-3).

Looks like I missed a great game.
Can't wait to watch Canadiens Express tomorrow morning.
(I won't watch the highlights on NHL.com just to make it more interesting )

Question:
Will the Habs game be on the CBC hockey night replay in a few hours ? Or is it the Toronto one ?

It is more than simply D'Agostini being a right-handed shot. If Carbonneau didn't have confidence in Matt, he wouldn't have put him on the ice. To put a 8 game rookie on a late overtime powerplay says something of how D'Agostini has played since being called up.

Let's not go THAT far after what we have witnessed at times this year. It was a good step in the right direction tonight though in terms of character.

Nice game, comeback after being down again and again.

I don't think Sergei is the answer on the 1st unit PP, but definitely the 2nd. They need a real good presence on the 1st one and maybe it will get rolling.

I can't wait for Price to get back, no offence to Halak who played very well in the 3rd, but Price just makes me feel much more comfortable, and he's bigger than Halak, who seems to get beat high a lot.

Hopefully Kovalev is back. No lack of effort that's for sure, let's just hope the points keep piling up. Very impressive win considering the injuries.

Kovy interview was so funny!

Reporter : And how did you see that 1 inch of space?

Kovy: There was no room this way ( - ) so i shoot the puck this way ( l )
