As a Habs fan, I really think he'd be good for us. I may be one of the very very few, but he has terrific vision and offensive talent.

Skost - Ribeiro - Kovalev would be great.

I'd trade Higgins for him, if dallas is desperate.

Hamrlik for Ribiero would make more sence for Dallas. They are short on wingers but they are desperate for some defence!

There is a less than Zero chance Dallas will even move Ribeiro and even a smaller chance Montreal would even want him back.

For fun!

To Dallas:
Komisarek
Halak
1st in '09

To Monreal:
Ribeiro
Avery ................

Ridiculous. Komi alone is worth more than Rib and everyone knows it.
Hamrlik is fair value but I'd rather Hamrlik over Rib because we'd just be treading sideways.

Really? Is that why Montreal hasn't locked him up yet? It will cost a serious overpayment by any team to even get the attention of Dallas if they wanted Ribeiro.

We haven't locked up anyone yet.

But he's not worth more than Ribeiro. Probably to Montréal, but overall, no.

No way from a Dallas standpoint!!!!!! If Ribs is traded its for a top paring D and not another teams leftovers.

this deal would not happen montreal is also poor on defence and needs a good puck moving defenceman so moving hamrlik will not benefit

As a Bruins fan, I'd love for the Habs to do that one.
