Hamrlik was very reckless on that last play, he pinched and didn't take his spot back when back in the defensive zone. He should know better.

Wow, Habs-hurricanes Redux

Great job by the referees again...

And someone should really re-arranged this little diver of Eric Staal, luckiest player in the ****ing league...

On that play it was D'Agostini who should of take his place... he'll learn...

D'Agostini did, but Hamrlik had the chance to take the spot back but he didn't. Poor clear by Dags no question but you can't just leave a rookie back there to play defense.

awful reffing all over, including in the OT with obvious calls not called on the Canes, as usual.

Karmanos must have spent a LOT of money on buying off these clowns.

A big thumbs up to whoever threw their beer on the ref's head. I would have gladly thrown whatever I could have thrown at him.

I hate the Carolina Hurricanes.

I hate how they become elite opposition against us. This mediocre band of character's ALWAYS look like a 110 point team against us.

I hate Sergei ''I should have never sniffed the NHL again after I tanked it here'' Samsucknov.

I hate Rod Brind'Augly.

I hate Cam ''I fluked out a cup win'' Ward and how he gets EVERY whistle from the refs whenever the puck is near his glove, even though he hasn't gloved it.

I hate Paul ''vanilla'' Maurice.

I hate Joe Corvo and his ridiculous pinch.

I hate how they get every single break and call from the refs. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

And if I didn't have Eric Staal in my FHL, I'd hate that diver too.

I just can't understand why each time we play Carolina the officiating is horrid.

Maybe because the Canes are so boring that the refs fall asleep.

Bad game for Hamrlik.

Kovalev was invisible for most of the night. During his goal drought he still worked hard, but this night, absolutely invisible. Now its
Plekanec working his ass off but not getting any results.

Tanguay was a ghost, with exception to his assists.

Price wasn't the best but coming back from an injury, I'll cut him some slack. Two fantastic stops in the third to keep us in it.

I really, really miss Koivu, Higgins and Andrei. Man...

I don't think we really have a D problem anymore. Some D have good nights, some have bad nights, and our PP doesn't work because we're trying the same thing we did last year and teams know how to beat it. We need to cook up a completely new strategy.

Maxwell isn't ready, thats a given.

I'm not even going to talk about the referees. They should be given Merry Christmas pink slips and told to go coach a new sport. Okay I'm done.

Plekanec is killing us by not doing anything efficiently. Can't believe how he plays...

the positive thing is that is the last time we play carolina this season.

funny thing is that we even had a penalty called on the play...what a crock of **** these refs were tonight

You would think that whenever Carolina played Montreal the refs would feel guilty about their brethren missing William's high-stick on Koivu......and crushing the Habs playoff dreams that year.

It seems they only remember Therrien screaming at Fraser.

The Habs were robbed.......
Quick whistles on them to remove Hab goals and when it's the Habs turn to get a quick whistle,,, it's a goal and game over, that's it, that's all, turn out the lights and lets go on vacation, hurry to the Airport and home.

If it was Cam Ward, the whistle would have blown about 4 seconds before the puck went in. He's the luckiest f***ing goalie in the league at that, he gets the benefit of the doubt almost every time the puck is near his crease, even when he doesn't have it.

Regardless of all this, the Habs didn't really deserve to win this game. Their effort was worthy of getting a point. This team is still incapable of playing 60 minutes on many nights.

Just came home from work to see the disallowed goal to Latendresse... Also a few quick whistles when Ward was looking for the puck. In the end of the third and even in OT, i saw some Carolina penalites going uncalled while there was a Montreal penalty coming for a one-handed hook...

How were the ref globally?
