Is Carbo giving the boys a week off?

During the Philly game I remember hearing that Carbo told the team if he liked their play over the weekend he would give them the week off. I think they deserved it, but does anybody know if this si what happened?

Gotta hate it when you put out the carrot, but the boys don't bite. Or take an ambiguous half-bite. And you probably really wanted those days off yourself too. Doh.

I think he will. We didn't play amazingly but we didn't play bad, and I think Carbo's the type of guy to give some holiday love to the guys

I just hope we can go on a mid-season roll like last season

5 out of 6 points if you include the Flyers beat down. Plus, the game before that was a total wash because of the zebras. The guys answered the bell.

I'm just glad that there's a layoff for a week because I need to recoup following that stupid game yesterday. Im sure that the guys and Carbo feel the same.

I seriously doubt a practice on December 23rd would have any sort of impact on the remainder of the season. It's a good move by Carbo to do this, let's just hope the team responds better to this week off than they did the last time.
