Just a quick friendly reminder. Talking about ignore lists is not acceptable on the boards.

Yeah but then you'll miss me and cry all the time in your real life. Do you really want to put yourself through that?

Personally at the beginning of the year I was very optimistic and didn't feel any player would have a bad season. It's still early, so I'm going to stick with that opinion. But I will admit that Plekanec's play does worry me a little. So if I had to pick one player, he would be my choice.

Sadly up to this point it's gotta be him.

Maybe expectations were just too high?

48 games left, lots of time for Pleks to turn it around. He has to start soon though...

I just checked his stats last year. He finished with 69 points.

So far he has 13. Lets say he gets a PPG for the rest of the season (48 games), he still finishes with 61 points. Not bad at all, but certainly not as good as last year. I also doubt he will be at a PPG pace.

Its pretty unfortunate. You can tell the guy is trying hard, he just cant do anything right. Hopefully you're right though and he turns it around asap

You can say he's skating but I would not say he's trying hard. The guy is scared for his life out there. He enters the zone with the puck and instead of continuing, he circles back around and throws the puck in for someone else to get it. He won't pay the price, he's so scared of contact it's pathetic and it's embarassing to say he's part of this team.

I bet if the Habs had a big centreman who digs for the puck and hits instead of Plekanec there would be a world of a difference. Like a Horcoff for example. We're counting on the guy to lead our team offensively; if you're going to be a wimp, at least get point, he does neither.

What a hilarious read this was. A lot of "solid" analysis in here.

Hamrlik had 33 points and was a +.

I'd say 2nd half Hamrlik.

And correction on Higgins: Regular season Higgins.

It's funny how everything went against the plan this year. I for one didn't expect Plek/Kosts/Higgins to stink up the joint so much. I expected bigger and better things from them. Plek had the most ground to lose because let's face it, last yr was a career season for him.

Plek has too much talent to not produce though, I think he'll get traded elsewhere and become a solid 60 pts/yr guy.

Michael, Ryder, was, the, Habs, first, right, winger. And then he went on to say that Jagr's departure from Manhattan meant less to his former team than Ryder's.

So yeah, the Habs are in trouble.
