Being English, i couldn't not like football if i wanted to.
The World Club rubbish that was just on was a complete waste of time. Man Utd in third gear coasted to it against the Tiki Tiki islands they put them up against.

Get real you ignorant *****! It's not as if i have family from manchester or anything, Or that united have the greatest welsh footballer of my time.
So go sit down in the corner like a good boy and stop feeling so great about yourself that you support your local team. Do you think Bridgend have a football team? tard /rant
Infact, Flyers fan from nottingham, pfft typical. Grow up

Being a Flyers fan from Nottingham is an entirely different kettle of fish too. I'm clearly not a glory hunter for one
Hey man, not after an argument. It just bugs me to see kids grow up as Man Utd fans just because it's the easy option. I wrote a 2,000 word feature on it a while back, it bugs me that much. Bridgend do have a football team by the way, get down watching them!
I'll take against your comment of 'grow up' however. I've been through hell and back with my football team, it would have been an easy and childish decision to choose to support Arsenal or Man Utd when i was growing up.

Bridgend football is a strange situation. No one likes them here for a few reasons. This is a rugby town though. Always has been and always will be. I will watch a poor game of rugby over a good game of football any day of the week. (does help being a rugby player too). I agree with the glory supporting footballers, it's a joke. Like all of the sudden "new" chelsea fans. I was a united fan before birth, Didn't have a choice. Not that i am regretting it.

I'll watch it if it's on, national teams though. Cheer for USA first, Germany second. That usually means I'm cheering for Germany because our soccer team kinda sucks.
Celtic fan. Born in Glasgow, but grew up in Canada where it was terribly difficult to get any Scottish games on television.
Didn't really have a favourite team early, but eventually along came this guy

and the rest was history.
FlyHigh, that sucks about Fabregas; bad year for Arsenal all around.
Yeah, the bright spot is that hopefully some of the bandwagon guys will finally get off. Way too many Arsenal "fans" who don't know legends of the club like Adams or Brady.
I play a ton of soccer, and watch a great deal -- but both have subsided lately.
My promotion at work requires me to work Saturday and Sunday, so not only do I not play soccer in the morning, but I can no longer watch in the afternoon. I try to catch replay games during the week when I get home and there is no Flyers game on, but I usually end up falling asleep during the match.
Favorite teams: AC Milan and the new Philadelphia MLS team (when it starts)...I liked ManU for awhile but I was a kid and got a jersey for Christmas. That was the only reason. Ronaldo makes me puke, anyway.

Man Utd's final two games were VERY entertainng.
The final was only moderately entertaining because they had Vidic sent off. Levelled the playing field somewhat.
But we don't even manage to win against the freakin' Faroer Islands.
We beat them 2-1 last year on their field in the group stage for the Euro cup,I said the same thing how the hell do we manage to go into the World Cup 2006 and give up only 2 goals the entire tournament,1 own goal and the other beiing the Zidane penalty kick and then play this pathetic team and give up a goal?Well I guess it's just a weird sport but these things happen
