We're not having Christmas with our kids until mid-January, but they know what I'd like under the tree! Truthfully, as sappy as it sounds, I'll have the only thing I really want that day - my kids home.

I think I've aced Christmas this year and I can't wait to see a few faces when they open their gifts.

I found a suede Green Bay Packers jacket for my husband (yeah, I know... but he loves them).

The rest of the great ones can't be posted here, on the slim chance the Sabres or Debbies fan sees it. They'll just have to wait!

Well I've had my Richards third since they came out, but my brother wanted to use it as a gift, so at this point, I just want to wear the ****ing thing. Then there's money, and lots of it, cause Christmas made me a broke ***** this year. And also, if it would snow at some point this winter, that would be fantastic. I'm tired of this ice ****, especially since I got pwned at a bar last night, when two jackasses that were fighting decided to back up into me and I went flying and hit my bad knee pretty hard, and then I proceeded to go ass to the ice this morning and banged my knee again. So yeah, snow, and then that's it.

As far as gifts, no one I know really wanted anything cool, so they're not getting anything cool. I guess I can say my pollyanna gift that I have to give away tonight is nice for a pollyanna. The guy I got is a big Flyers fan, and he also likes the Colts for football, so I got one of those Flyers stockings, and put a Colts calender, Flyers hat, and a bottle of Blackberry Brandy since it's his favorite in it. Definitely went above the $20 limit, but what the hey.

I've gotten 2 gift cards and cash. No one really cares anymore about giving gifts in my family. Occasionally someone will get something nice or something they really want/need, but those are few and far between now.

I'm just hoping the snowfall doesn't prevent me from meeting up with the lady's parents in the B.C. Okanagan Valley (she's already there; left last Sunday). It's still snowing in Vancouver today!

The best present I gave is two tickets to the Flyers/Canucks game on the 30th to the two biggest Canuck fans I know. They both also happen to live in Victoria, so they don't often get to see their beloved Canucks live these days. I'm hopin' it becomes the worst present they received .

My best friend lives in Vancouver and is a Canucks fan. He's also going to the game and we're going to have to come up with some ground rules because we're both VERY passionate about our teams. I hope it ends up like last year!!!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone!

What I'm getting: new strings for my Balalaika (it really needs them).

What I'm giving: A bottle of Dave Schultz Chardonnay for my wife. He's become her favorite all time Flyer ever since we watched a dvd of a bunch of his fights, and then she saw an interview with him. She loved how humble and cool he was in the interview considering her only other exposure to the guy was watching him kick ass and take names.

Happy holidays all!! Be safe. Be warm. Mute the TV when the awful commercials come on!!

Happy Holidays to all of the Flyer faithful no matter what you celebrate!

I bought my own birthday/christmas present to myself back in September. I got my Richards "C" jersey.
I bought no x-mas gifts this year, such a relief. My family just gets together, no presents. I say "no presents", but I am getting two not wrapped under the tree. I will finally be getting my Dennis Seidenberg game worn Hurricane Katrina jersey signed (flame away), and going to a Hurricanes game with my family(season ticket holders).

Merry X-mas!!

Happy Holidays. Hope no one overdoses on "A Christmas Story." Such a great movie but when it's played non-stop....watching it now, "Oh fudge!"

Hoping Santa brings me a Gagne third, world peace, and a Cup in '09!

My Brother sent me a Chanukah card this year. On the cover it has a bagel, a bottle of liquor and a jar of pickled herring on a table. Inside it says, "Just because the guy is at the wrong house doesn't mean he has to starve!" I thought it was funny.

Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas to everyone!
