regardless, there are plenty of players like him in the minor....it's the name and the GM father that got him here...MOD EDIT...hopefully he makes the most of it.....I hope the best for him, it's not his fault.
Wow I feel the Christmas spirit in this post!

you are aware that most of the call-ups are based on the coaches preference right? no, wait of course you aren't aware of that or anything else that happens in the game of hockey... Sutter was recalled because he is a reliable checking player... its that simple... it has nothing to do with his name and everything to do with his play... and if the word of a QC fan wasn't enough for you; Sutter proved this without a doubt last night by doing a little of everything

Thanks Lunatik. I only meant that PIMking saying the kid had heart, well, thats a great thing! and if he doesn't have the "Most" heart of all the players, .....well...I have this strange feeling that most if not all NHL players would not be offended. In fact, heart, last I checked, cannot be measured.

If this kid keeps his this energy up... open arms welcoming right here. I was originally upset that Lunds got the drop for Sutter... not anymore.

But we will have to wait for game 2 for a real judgment. Definitely impressed with game 1 though.

What I haven't seen mentioned is his similarity to Boyd. Though not obviously identical, I was really reminded of Boyd whenever he was out there. Had the exact same feelings about seeing him out there as I had in #41s early games last year. Definitely a player I like having 2 of.

< Excited
