Once again, Comcast is screwing us for the people who don't have CN8. It's reruns on the CW so why isn't the game on there? Makes me mad. Anywho, it should be a good game. Go Flyers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be shocked if he even manages a shot on net.

I wouldn't be shocked if he got a point tonight. He says he's up to speed to the AHL level now. He won be out there against the other teams better defenders.

Shades of Christmas Vacation..... really, that sucks though.

I really, really admire you're dedication (and the other far away fans!!)

I'm happy to see Chicago doing well, in the stands and off ice too. I know the "new" GM took over from his dad and has done a lot of good things there. That city and the team desreve that!

Stick them on CN8 and let us watch the flyers in comcastHD.

Depends on who he plays with. If it's Glen Metropolit or the goons, then yeah, I agree.

Well this is going to be a good test for the guys. The Blackhawaks have a good young team and will be a good comparison to ours for a long time I think. I sure hope Giroux plays as that would be awesome to be able to see JVR and Giroux on the same day live, well at least on my pc.

I bit the bullet the other day and signed up the other for a 3 month subscription to hockeystreams.com for $25 Cdn as I couldnt stand the crappy streams anymore from myp2p and such. The ATHDE ones were great when you could get them to work properly but more often than not the were crap for me. Anyways at least with hockeystreams.com you can watch all you want unlimited and if you miss a game you can go back and watch them as well because they are archived. You can even get the HD package as well and when they were having a free trial a while back I watched one one there and it was pretty awesome for being on the computer.

Anyways enough pimping hockeystreams........

This is going to be a serious challenge for the Flyers.
This is one of the better teams in the west in their building.
Should be a fun game.

I'm looking at it now, it looks awesome, especially for the price too. Myp2p has really gone down hill this year. I thought it would continue to get better but the streamers have died down quite a bit. Free streaming will soon become something of the past im thinking. 15 for the rest of the season though, i might just take that up

That's being very kind. As much as well all pay Comcast on a monthly basis, you would think we wouldn't have to settle for this crap.

I'd assume if he plays, he is replacing Upshall on the 3rd line. (edit: so you are correct...i misread your post somehow as 4th line...)

There is no need to roll Gratton and Cote against Chicago, especially with Burish hurt. The worst they can throw at us, is our old friend Ben Eager. And I'd imagine Gratton can handle him easily...

I agree last year the streams were alot better for consistency anyways. At least they werent continually buffering and you didnt have to refresh them constantly. Being in NW Canada and being a Flyers fan doesnt give me much option outside of center ice. But for the price I thought it was a pretty good deal for a really nice stream.

Khababulin will start. Also, a change with Chicago's blueline.
Quote:

The Blackhawks returned to the ice Friday morning after three days off as they prepare to face the Philadelphia Flyers at the United Center.

Defenseman Aaron Johnson has been activated from injured reserve and is scheduled to be in the lineup while fellow blueliner Cam Barker sits with an undisclosed injury.

Johnson has missed the Hawks' last 11 games following a rib injury after being checked into the boards by the Sharks' Mike Grier on Nov. 26 in San Jose. The 25-year-old has three goals and seven assists in 18 games. He is a plus-13, which at the time of his injury was second amond NHL defensemen and tied for fifth overall in the league.

The Flyers had difficulty traveling into Chicago so didn't hold a morning skate. The team's plane was diverted from Midway to O'Hare because of weather. Buses to get the players and their equipment to United Center were at Midway.

The Hawks have won seven straight games but if there's a team just as hot, it's Philadelphia. The Flyers are 7-1-2 in their last 10 games.

"They're a good team," Hawks rookie Kris Versteeg said. "It's going to be a grind out there tonight. The place is sold out so it should be an exciting game for everybody."

Nikolai Khabibulin, who is riding a personal three-game winning streak, is scheduled to start in goal for the Hawks.

The only option we have over here is NASN, but you don't get to choose games and the games that are picked are always the ****ing pens, or to have the NHL online thing that costs an arm and a leg
