I was aware he was injuried, but not that he was out for the season. Seeing his deal was up and his age, he struck me as a nice trade deadline get for the NHL's Russian consulate in Washington.

firstly, dallas management would not do this to zubov
i believe they are 2 points out of the playoffs with a majority of players in their prime so this makes no sense either because if they have any chance of a playoff appearance then they will not be sellers. hull needs to make the playoffs as well and given the recent improvements of the team i believe they will be in the playoffs

In summary to my short rant, the answer is no
