DEK Hockey in Pittsburgh

I'm looking for a DEK/floor hockey team in Pittsburgh.
I'm 19, been playing for years.
Can play any position.(besides goalie)
Have a couple friends who would play too if needed.
PM me or just leave a response and i'll get back to you.

alot of people post on craigslist looking for players. Most play at the Penn Hills dek hockey place or Bills hockey near belle vernon.

Thats the penn hills dek hockey place, I'm not sure if they have any type of free agent sign up or if its teams only.

alot of a-holes play there in the adult leagues, I played there for about 3 games on a friend of a friends team. Everyone wanted to fight if you looked at them the wrong way and they brought me in as an enforcer to keep it from happening.

Yes - Neville Island mostly. They also have (or had) a dek division, but i don't think they had enough teams. it used to be big back in the day then when RMU purchased the facility they crapped all over the fun people used to have there (drinking in the parking lot post game).

How do you like it there? Some friends and myself are looking to join a roller league somewhere. We'll probably join the one at the rollerplex in Bridgeville.

Bridgeville is great because of the cost - much cheaper than Neville - to give you an idea I started playing @ Neville shortly after they opened the roller rink up (not the old south side Neville) - it was about 600 dollars - and the price has steadily increased since 2001 where it is about 1100 this year, per team, per session. The refs can be good or bad, and usually one doesn't show, and the scorekeepers don't pay attention, so i emailed the director and asked how they could justify the 1100 cost - didn't get much of an answer - Bridgeville i just started playing at again, only for pickup though - since it was remodeled its pretty nice, compared to what it had been.
