Hockey on feet.

I think it's stupid. Skating the the biggest point of hockey. With Dek Hockey there is no flow. It's all stop/star plays. I love all the kids who are like ''Yeah, I play hockey. DEK Hockey.'' No you don't. Put on some skates.

What kills floor hockey is that it's usually played in small gyms with bad equipment. And no referee. And no rules pretty much. That's what causes all the stop and go's.

In the summer I used to play floor hockey in an interschool league when I was playing bantam / midget / junior. It was pretty rough competition too, especially against that other school from our town :-p

To be in the league, a school HAD to provide an enclosed (With boards all around) playing surface of a certain minimum size. One school used those moveable walls you use to create office cubicles as boards on one side of their floor.

Obviously ice hockey is preferable to Dek Hockey, but it is much more expensive, and not everyone can afford it.

Kind of. You would play DEK hockey on these small square tiles (most of the time) and with a ball.
