I guess since I requested I would have to post in it.... So Grabs on fire, in route to a 60-goal season in a loss cause.....

Who else....

Mike Ribeiro with 4............shots on goal, no points...

And that's about it for today....

Good for Mikhail. Scored a goal, finished +1, even went 53% on faceoffs. He might turn into a player yet.

Time will definitely tell, but atleast he's going to get a much better chance with the leafs. Then he would have ever gotten with the Habs.

The interesting part (well not that interesting) is that you'll have a guy like Michel Villeneuve who's already ready to jump on the organization for letting him go if he does well while he was ripping him apart last year saying how bad he was when only Gérard Gagnon was always on his side.

I'll reserve my judgment, again, I've seen Suglobov being so great for them until the season started. Though Grabovski will have some icetime, not having Sundin back is really what could change Grabovski's career.

Michael Ryder

... scored his 13th goal (one shy of last year's total) and he's +14. He's on pace for 30 goals and +32.

10 g in 13gp. 6 game winners. Good for Mikey, his moves lately remind me of his rookie year when we all fell in love with him.

Guillaume Latendresse

...won a race to a puck (he couldn't beat a dead horse last season) and he's looking dangerous in the O zone with his forechecking. He's not on his way to McDonald's as we speak.

Typical Ryder hot streak...he'll get into a funk eventually.

I mean even Julien was complaining about him 15 games into the season saying thety need more production from him.

I wouldn't take him back at 1 mil per season.

Ryder always was streaky but he's got his work cut out for him.
Savard does him wonders.

I know right, typical Ryder. Likely about to put up another 30 goal season, useless

I don't know why some didn't like him. Even last year, his contract year, with his production and ice time cut, he was always a great team player.

I'd rather dislike guys who are trouble makers, guys like Theodore, Ribeiro, Samsonov, Grabovski, than guys who never said a word against anyone.

Agreed. With the way some players have been playing this year, it probably wouldn't have hurt us to give him a 2-3 year deal. He certainly would've been better than Lats or Higgins.

He is. But Krejci is working some wonders of his own this year.

Agreed, Krejci has been playing amazing this year. He's a big part of the reason that the loss of Bergeron won't be a big factor.

He wouldn't be playing alongside Marc Savard on our team. That said, good for him, his shots were due to start going in again.
