He is playing as a top 6 on a very good team, so I guess that would be what his current value is.

Even though he is playing very well. I believe his point production is down as he has been snake bit in a few games.

He has been productive wherever he has played and he hasn't hit his true NHL stride yet either.

Foot speed from standstill would be deemed slow, but his positional play is phenomenal along with his smarts.

He was near the top of AHL goal scoring for the last two years. I think he'll eventually find that at the NHL level and be a consistent 20+ goal scorer.

I think he would be hard to peel away from the Hawks. Unless they are going to package Brouwer and Barker for a star type player (rental) at the deadline. I'm not even sure that would benefit the team. The team chemistry is off the charts right now. Why mess with it?

I haven't gotten enough chances to see the Hawks play this season. One of the many reasons I can't wait for the New Years Day game.
