I almost have to wonder if Redden enjoys playing Hockey. You know what I mean?

Like when Jagr took the ice there was NEVER any doubt that he loved the game. At least as a Ranger.

No player exudes pure JOY in every second on the ice more than Ovechkin imo. Its his secret ingredient. The source of his magick!

What? The SENS?

Where is our Spezza? Heatley? Alfredsson?

Our best foward in Nik Zherdev isn't even on any of their levels...yet.

Well our guys have elite contracts like those guys. Only the Henke is Elite on NYR

But if the Sens are going to blow up that team

Heater for Gomez, Sanguinetti and whatever else the Sens want.

Maybe defense wasn't his true calling then, I too thought he had some skills when he had the puck. But was a headless chicken defending against any type of fore-check.

He was a cool head with the puck in his possession more times than not. Unfortunately he might be the slowest player in the league and he never learned to throw his body around.

My biggest problem with Malik is that he became a problem in the locker room. I know it was out of frustration, but you cant diss the coach infront of the team and think it wont be a problem.

Wade Redden retired already. He's just here picking up a paycheck, nothing more. This team has no shot while he's a regular defenseman for us.
