Vermette to Buffalo

Vermette hasn't been having a good season so far, from what I've seen/heard. What is his current value? Buffalo could use a #2 center behind Roy, and I've always liked Vermette. Hypothetically, what would it take from Buffalo's standpoint?

I don't know if the Sens do this. They might as well keep Vermette for the time being. I think the Sens could use Vermette as part of package for an impact player. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make a push for Bouwmeester (if they can sign him to an extension ofcourse) and use Vermette as part of the bait along with some prospects.

As a Sens fan, I'd probably do it with the only hesitation being that Buffalo is a division rival.

Meh Vermette is not really someone that would bite you in the ass, we pretty much know his peak. Division rivals shouldn't trade stars to each other, like Spezza.

Vermette [a fan favourite] in a Sabres jersey would make me throw up.

Vermette in a Sabres jersey would not get any sort of negative reaction out of me.

If we were offered MacArthur and a 2nd round pick, I'd do it.

The Sabres should go after a proven veteran guy.

I don't know, with the back-to-back series before last year, I'd say it's pretty tense.
