I am not worried about the schedule. Injuries, rather. At the very least we will hang around the 8th spot until March.

In every road trip of more than two games there is at least one sprinkled in that we should win. And we have beaten teams far better than those who we "should" be beating. Got at least one point in many games against the "elite." I have bought into this team. I believe good things will happen. It's safe to say though, that if they collapse, I won't be disappointed. Coming into the year, nobody had good expectations. We should be happy.

The home games continue. Too bad we won't see the team much in Feb, March, or April

We lose tonight after Saturday's shut out. I would like to be proven wrong but the Kings have only done it one time and that is when the posted 2 shut outs in a row.... that would also be nice.

I predict Mason has a good game, and Columbus is not a terrible team. We could very easily lose this game 2-1. We would have last year. But this is not last year or last year's team, and I think we win this one to prove it. I'll be at Staples to see it, one way or another.
In my opinion this is the most critical post of the year. If you did not post this it would pretty much be meaningless to post ever again.

Seriously this is game 37. Are you going to freak out if the Kings lose tonight?

I have a feeling this game will be harder than our other meetings. I see the Blue Jackets looking to make a statement against us and trying to get a revenge win here. As long as we stay strong and play as we have these last three games we should prevail. 3-2 Kings. GO KINGS!

Man thats bold. Bernier is just going to take one year more.

He has all the tools.

Mason is a winner. Thats the thing i love about him.

I dunno. Bernier hasn't been given much of an opportunity yet. He proved that he could play at the NHL level, but he is being held back. Lombardi said himself that he believes goaltenders require 2 full years in the AHL... I think Bernier would be playing just fine if he were here. The Kings have several promising and talented young goaltenders... It is a good problem to have Let the kid develop.

Bernier for Mason straight up? Yes. In a heartbeat.

I agree with you Hans. This is the M.I.G.O.D. This is one of those defining moment games and there is the psychological component of going into the new year winning and playing well ESPECIALLY with something that resembles stability in net.

My powers of prediction are warming up for tonight's game.

Nice to see Kopitar taking some shots... Also, is it me or does the fsn scoreboard show kings up 1-0 at the start of the game?
