The more you know...I'm in sec 308, row 8.

Here's a question for you, if I end up having to drive in from North Van at about 6:45, where should I go to park? At that point I won't care if it costs me an arm and a leg, I'd just want a ******* spot. My friend always parks at the Telus building...thoughts?

I wanted to make a trip up to Vancouver to see this game, but work and my general laziness about doing things like buying tickets/making sure I give myself enough time to get my passport has screwed me.

On the plus side, last year's game in Vancouver - the one the Flyers won 8-2 - was also one I wanted to try and make it up for, and the same thing happened... so let's make it a tradition boys!!!

I always bus downtown because traffic is a nightmare, but there's plenty of event parking all around GM Place and BC Place. You could always park at the casino, as well.

kk...sounds good. We'll see how events unfold.

In slightly off-topic news, I'm watching the Dark Knight right now...Ledger is amazing in this one.

It also makes me think about our team in terms of Two-face...I wonder which team'll show up!

Take it easy on us. No more 6-0, 8+ goal games.

Hoping for a competitive game, good luck!

I found this amusing:

http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/..._practice.html
Quote:
Allen Iverson made fun of practice, saying it was overrated.

The Flyers disagree.

"We talkin' about practice," goalie Marty Biron said in his best Iverson impersonation after yesterday's workout here at General Motors Place. "It's the first one we've had in a long, long time."

If at least one of Timonen or Carle is back this is a very doable game.

Nucks have some injuries too and Sundin is not back yet.

If Flyers play discipline road game we should get at least one point.

I don't see the Canucks as being that good. With Timonen/Carle back, it's a game we can certainly win.

RANDY JONES?!

I forgot about the late start time. Should be getting done right around my bedtime, so I'll still be able to manage in my beauty sleep. I'll just make sure I fit my drinking in earlier for the game.

MSE, fabulous as always--great musical choice and great pictures.

I think the Flyers should consider themselves lucky that Luongo is out for this one, now let's see if they can get the job done.

Let's Go Flyers!!

I think you have to now be a sponsor to have a signature.

Ehhh.. same here. Plus 'nuck tickets have to be some of the most expensive in the whole league!

Go O&B, at any rate.

This should be a fun game to watch, since I love the Flyers and like the Canucks. I'm seeing a 4-3 win tonight. Carter gets 2, Gags gets a shorty and Knuble/Ritchie empty netter.

First of all, Kambo is going to beat you down for the prediction.

Secondly, are you suggesting the Canucks will pull Sanford in a 3-3 tie, or do the Canucks bury a late one after the empty netter?

Happened in a Flyers' game at Los Angeles (early 80s): ENG gave the Flyers a 2-goal lead and then the Kings scored twice and the game finished in a tie. Only time I remember seeing that. Imagine if we had these boards back then.

I can't remember if it was a semi-pro or junior level game I was watching when a goalie scored into an empty net to give his team a two goal lead. He then allowed a goal late and ended up with the game winner.... something to brag to the grandkids about.

If I could pick any city to play in other than the hometown team of course, it would be the Canucks. The BC coast is beautiful, excellent access to hunting and fishing and a fair amount of really hot women come from BC.
