Unfortunetly D'Agostini made quite a few mistakes the last few games. He was so confident not too long ago. I think Tanguay must have a bad influence on him or something.

I think that we are in a great position. We have good young talent. When Higs and Koivu come back Bob and Carbo will make the right choices...

We have the cards...

If anything, O'Byrne will be sent down as soon as Dandenault has recovered, or a trade will happen. I think D'Agostini is worthy to stay on the Canadiens roster all season. I would say that over SKost and O'Byrne. D'Agostini has been working hard and puts himself in front of the net.

As a matter of fact, I think the Canadiens fans and management should recognize that D'Agostini rekindled the Canadiens morale once he was called up to play. D'Agostini finishes plays in a team of playmakers.

I'm guessing that some people will have a little shot to the ego (IE: possibly a trade or sending O'Byrne and SKost to the minors...)

To be fair, he is playing with Zombie Tanguay, who appears to be the new Zombie Kovalev.

Wait till koivu comes back, Daggs will pick up the pace. We'll probably see a line of Daggs, Koivu with either Tanguay or SK.

Higgins won't be back until February, so there is a lot of time for Daggs to establish himself. I think other players are more in danger than either of them.

I don't know what the hurry is, Higgins won't be back until at least the 15th of January 2009, Koivu either.

Why because Higgins and all the other Hab players are scoring a goal per game???

Does a kid have to come up and light the lamp every game to stay? He hasn't played too bad away from the puck and he is creating chances with his speed and drive.

this is so true, we are not use to seeing players besides Lappy and Begin using speed and drive.

I agree. Sergei has lost all of his fire. Last year, if he was not putting point,he was getting his nose durty. That is what's missing this year.

Tanguay played a much, much better game last night. Were it not for a skate, his stick would've put in Kovalev's goal - right in front of the net. I thought he skated a bunch more than he has been.

D'Agostini is playing well & may or may not be sent down when Higgins is back..... I expect Tom K will be scratched when Higgins returns, because D'Agostini will score a few more times.

And threads like this will be a memory again.

I thought Dags has been playing really well. Maxwell, on the other hand, is not ready for the NHL

It is natural that he cooled off, and also no biggie if he is sent to Hamilton

The guy is a rookie who showed some good jump, just what the TEAM needed at the time. Now, the reality, the grind of everyday playing has caught up.

It is his time to work through it. And...it's normal and OK.

If the TEAM needs him to develop more in Hamilton, so be it.

I repeat, WHAT THE TEAM NEEDS.

When Saku, Higgins, Laraque are back, they get their spots back simple. If they suck for long periods, they are sat down or traded. This is because the TEAM comes first.

Hero worship is for children.

Team first.

Might as well trade D'Agostini, what a bum for not scoring 3 goals every 4 or 5 games.

By the time Dandenault will be ready, the trade deadline and the expanded rosters that are available to us right after it will be right around the corner anyway.

Hum, cause of what? He scored 4 goals in 4 games so he's better then Higgins who was on a scoring drought? What next, he keeps the pace he had in his last 8 games, which is the pace of a 20 goals scorer then he sturrgle to find the back of the net, a 20 goals scorer that is ona bad streak doesnt score often so we call up Danny Kristo hoping he scores 4 goals in 4 games so we can say he's better then D'ago?

Damn.

I'd say it's fairly easy compared to finding a good thread here.

I want the dev camp to start.
