I kind of figured that's what it was from the look on his face while he was on the bench with the trainer.

Yeah and when he left the ice. Gave me a flashback to the time I got my left shoulder messed up.

We could see our first glimpse of Pacioretty.

Pacioretty and Chipchura up, Maxwell down would make my new year. Get it done if Saku isn't ready to return. I have officially started the FREE KYLE CHIPCHURA movement, see my sig.

We are now without our entire ''2nd line'' though. Not good.

Ouch. Losing Tanguay for a while will hurt, no doubt about it.

It seems these injuries always happen after a long slump. Look out Lang! I think we'll be alright. Heck, these injuries might be good for us because it hardens the team's resolve and ability to persevere. I suspect Koivu will be back sooner than originally planned now, then we can call up Chips and Pac and send down Maxwell. Besides the injury to Komisarek, our D has been healthy though (almost a detriment since we don't get to see what Weber can do). But with all the injuries, what will our leading goal scorer have? 25? Fewer?

No one knows because he hasn't been with the team on this road trip.

A seperated shoulder to a normal person might take about 2 weeks to heal but since this is a physical sport like hockey, i wouldnt be surprised seeing him out for a month.

Clearly it has to happen against one of the worst teams in the league. Bad luck.

I agree that these changes should be made for the New Jersey game.

A.Kostitsyn-Plekanec-Kovalev
Pacioretty-Lang-D'Agostini
Latendresse-Lapierre-Kostopolous
S.Kostitsyn-Chipchura-Begin

Hopefully Koivu and Laraque are not out too longterm.

If Laraque is longterm, what do the Hamilton observers think about calling up Henry (sending down O'Byrne). Henry could fill in as a 6th d-man from time to time and 4th line winger.

We've already had a glimpse of Pacioretty. What we'll probably see is Pacioretty taking regular shifts with the Habs for the next month or so. What it also means is that with so many players on the injured list, Gainey won't be making any trades for awhile.
