I'm in a pretty good mood actually. I usually get sarcasm, maybe it's not my detecting ability ? Geritol and CC isn't a bad thing, it might help.

Carbo is going to double shift Maxwell since he's playing so good.

really depends on whether or not there is any ligament damage. If it popped out and back in quickly, it's less likely there is ligament damage and time off should be less.

we can thank the tampa bay organization for this.

the glass wasnt on tight enough...you would think in the NHL things like this wouldnt happen. but then again this is the same team which forces the oponent's backup goaltender to sit by himself because the visitor's bench is not adequate. you would think in the NHL this wouldnt be allowed

With Tanguay and Higgins out, who plays the tough minutes? IMO, of the healthy Habs wingers, only Andrei and Kostopolous can drive a line in hard situations. That'll mean a lot of line juggling for Carbo, to keep sheltering the rookies, Lats and Kovalev.

The injury probably also puts any trade talks on hold, until we get at least one of the big three back.

The opposing back up goalie sits by himself at the Bell Centre also.

Actually, he sits near the center, where the visiting team dressing room is. But the crowd is right there. He is on a chair in the entrance. I dont really think its that much better.

Tanguay is out for a month

According to RDI, Tanguay will miss the next month because of a shoulder separation.

I guess it PAC time !

Great, well, I think this is the Higgins situation all over again (same play too). The player wasn't doing so great recently and now he's injured. Patches will get that chance as you say.

Sucks but doesn't have me too worried for whatever reason. Nothing against Tanguay, I just think the Habs have the depth to overcome it.

I'm not sure what to make of this. It will be interesting to watch the team in Tanguay's absence. It should give Gainey some insight into what he should do with Tanguay. If the team doesn't skip a beat than that's good info to consider in decision making. This and playoff performance should allow Bob a pretty informed position.

We have nice depth and great youth. Either Chipchura or Pacioretty should bring energy and youthful enthusiasm.

Do you recall Chip or Pac to replace Tanguay? I'd say Pac since he's a winger but i heard Chip can play the wing too so maybe he's going to be recalled.

wow the guys are dropping like flies. In normal circumstances I wouldn't be too worried with Tanguay going down, but with more and more guys missing time you have to think that at one point we'll run out of depth.

On the bright side, we get to see a few kids play and thus get a better idea of their overall progression.
